In India particularly in media and political circle poverty is very sensitive issue.as we know povery is not a personal problem,now it is related to overall development of an economy.Therfore All the political leaders try to reap the benefit in the name of poverty.Recent contorversy on poverty is like that.To define poverty is the work of experts.But as awareness level has been arising with the benficiaries of Govt programmes,the contorversy is rising.Estimation of poverty is not new.Govt has been devising new poverty line from time to time.Now the inflation has been rising so hihg thatthe value of rupee has been decreasing alaramingly.So the work of one committee seems outdated in next few years.So the conorversy seems to me totally out of proprtion.PM has been doing right job by proposing a new committee to estimate the poverty
