He fought against the Mauritius Mafias, who are bringing in Indian's Black money staked in Switzerland via Mauritius, introduced by Jaswant Sinha to enrich his family members in 2004. Since then India has lost impoosible amount of tax revenues due to this scheme of Jaswant Sinha. In 2004 it was estimated India would lose per year at least Rs.6500 Crores of tax revenues. Pranab tried to close this loop hole, and as a result became very unpopular with the Black money holders of India who are the captains of Indian industry and owners of the newspapers.

This slave and bootlicker of the foreign curse Sonia, at last, will get his reward in the form of Presidency. He will be remembered as an idiot who took India to the limits of economic disaster. Good riddance of bad rubbish
The media gimmick of resurgency and buoyancy being shown after the departure of Pranab...the reportrayal of reformist PM upon his assunption of the role of FM, the over hopefulness and enthusiasm about the economy bouncing back, the headlines like - PM's "reforms team" back with a bang! or, 'India's economic growth to bounce back from Oct (wat an accurate prophecy), are self explanatory about the performance of the previous FM. What remains to be seen is how far 'the redecoration of the showcase with PM as reformist FM also'..prove to be successful in diverting the attention of the people from the economic mess for which the previous FM is in no way solely responsible, as guidance of economist PM and his team was always there.
