is pakistan judiciary in better form?
by kailash chander on Jun 25, 2012 12:17 AM  | Hide replies

In India we observe courts give verdict always what suits to central rulers and we fear singur case is not going exceptional. there may be invisible hand (of power centred family, ruler)behind the verdict. land matters belong to states and not centre.
Remember in case of Mayawati did not provide land to amethi project and then the rly minister provided it's land? Again every where in India there is strong opposition and movements against land acquisition and only state govt. are fighting the cases. Problem is people from cities read and react and unfortunately not anyone goes deep into the matter(Iish govt. some time destroy their homes to develop roads, etc. and only then these mamata critics will come to know the real hurt feeling). Illiterate and poor people does not have lobbyist and so the corporates/policy makers/rulers exploit them without fear.
Pakistan has given verdict against PMgilani but can we imagine that in India? in bofors scam almost all the cabinet of ministers, cbi, etc. not only saved the gandhi family openly but also shamelessly got the commission amount released. Can we come to know how sonia has become 4th richest lady in the world?
WBengal is fortunate enough getting such a brave and honest CM which has the courage to fight against evil to save poor and helpless people.

I belong from singur. I know the reality. Actually only some local peopole whome were mis-guided by Mamta Banerjee & party oppose the land accuisition. The party gathered people outside singur to showup.
They become succesfull in their moto i.e.vote bank. The leader of "Save Agricultural land from Trinsmul" in singur become the minister and gathered more than 15 crore property in 2 years. Personally I know him & he belogs from my relation.
Mamta banerjee is a good fighter but not a good leader. In singur they prepare one store for the shake of local farmers to store vegetable. Now that is being used by trinamul leader for their personal business & store apple & fruits to sell in kolkata.
CPM made West bengal a land of dead man & Manta is now dancing on it.
One thing people of Singur tell now-a-days " Intelligent enimy is batter than a fool friend"

Inform TATA motors that if you have a bill past in your Bengal with majority against landgrab, that is what counts at last . You and your party , sory i don't know the name of it are law-makers. Any court needs to follow the law and implement it.

Abar jora paye pechone latthi(a nice two footed kick on bum)by High Court!!! Recently MSY had given you the same treatment on Prez. poll issue. Problem with you is - you have been doing "Chalega Nehi" type of destructive politics all along & you have'nt reconciled yourself in managing an effective admin. Moreover, you are surrounded 24 hours by some idiotic crooks who have been suggesting you horribly wrong ways & means. So, why wait for the next kick from Sonia? Therefore, escape now fast like so many times you had done in past from Union cabinet. Catch hold of some true professionals, learn from them the best practices & then come back to run the state, We all will wait !!!!!!????

Baga Poolish, Boojhlay raag hobay na. Lokkhi kay laath? Not for nothing Time magazine chose her amongst 100 influentials. Five years shall go through different stages of development. Initially things need to be also undone before something of real and lasting value can be done. Think in the this case, absence of Presidential reference was undermining from within. If the intent is noble, competent people shall gravitate to resolve issues. The fruitsnof such labour may seem sour first, shall ripen over time.

If intent is noble. That is the key word. In this case, it is not a noble cause. It is a political brownie point scoring opportunity which has gone out of control thanks to the immature leader of TMC.

A class market economy
by Ramesh on Jun 23, 2012 04:42 AM  | Hide replies

In the Nandigram agitation, at stake was policy on acquisition of land. In the Singur case at stake is reversing the decisions taken by previous government and continuation of the state policies. However, ironically the case was declared invalid on technical ground.

600 odd acres is minuscule compared to State area, but the response to Singur issue, if well thought can provide an alternate model for development, distinct from Political school of Raja dharma. Which seeks to tilt political equations in favor of businessman and social equations in favor of backward castes. This undoubtedly is a superior idea but nevertheless a B-grade thinking.

Bengal, as the first outpost of Indian thought can do better if the local government can be a champion of initiating sensible land market reforms which is fair to all stakeholders with full scope safeguard for weaker elements.

De-politicization of the market economy and its control and regulation by legal instrument alone is what would be A-class market economy about. This ideal would take decades for fulfillment, but putting the ideal in place alone would ensure it would be reached someday.

Presently INC also is consumed by political ethos of Political school and Modi led BJP shall be no different, perhaps bit more faster. The likes of Mamata Di can perhaps morph to formulate credible policies for a A-class market economy.

MMS undoubtedly belongs to A class, while the dynasty which props him nor the incumbent Finance Minister have credentials to be A-class.

Mamata Di has been firebrand opponent of B-grade economic model, but whether it will translate to commitment to A-class market economy would depend on the quality of advice she receives. The rest of UPA could be years of glorious and rapid transformation by putting the necessary building blocks in place for long term growth and ethical-legal linkages to developed markets.

The remaining years of MMS government are going to be decisive. It shall determine whether or not an A-class economy shall be placed on firm foundation, a pre-requisite to surpass China in socio-economic development in coming decades.

INDIA IS THE MOSTfailedNATION ON MOTHERearth
by CleverCongGame on Jun 23, 2012 12:09 AM

AND HERE IS WHY:

S0NIA is ruling over an ancient population of one thousand two hundred million cowards.

she rules over entire indian subcontinent for THIRTY YEARS now.

in her rule, more than SEVEN HUNDRED MILLION humans are forced into GRINDING POVERTY.

in her rule, logically, another TENS OF MILLIONS MUST HAVE STARVED till their end.

NOW SHE WANTS HER CANDIDATE FOR INDIAN PRESIDENT.

SO ALL INDIANS! PLEASE VOTE FOR HER CHOICE ONLY.

PLEASE HELP,

TO STARVE DOZENS OF MILLIONS OF MORE PEOPLE.

TO CONVERT MILLIONS MORE INTO GRINDING POVERTY.

BETTER STILL, JUST DONT VOTE.

THAT WAY, S0NIA WILL WIN.

ALL HAIL THE RULER.

ALL HAIL THE WINNER.

SECONDLY:

IF CONGleaderDELHI, SHEILAdoes
L00T OF 32,000 CRORES IN 37 SCAMS,
OVER PAST 8 YEARS,
THEN JUDGES SAY THAT,
IT IS NOT REALLY A PROBLEM.

BUT IF BJP PERSON SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT THAT,
THEN JUDGES SAY THAT,
IT IS REALLY VERY BAD.

Bengal has a legacy of a galaxy of luminaries like Swami_Vivekananda,Rabindra_Tagore,Raja_Ram_mohan_Rai,Bankim_Chandra,Dayananda_Saraswati,Satyajit_Ray,Netaji_Shubhash,etc.

But why Bengal does not have a single visionary political leader whom people can admire ???

YES, MANY MANY C0NGRESS POLITICIANS ARE IN aLIST OF RAPEandMURDER OF INNOCENTS.

HOWEVER, THEIR SPECIALTY SEEMS TO BE FOUR-FOLD:

1. TO FOCUS ON MINOR INNOCENT KIDS

2. SUPERB EXPERTISE IN GETTING THEIR CASES TRANSFERRED TO CBI

3. FANTASTIC AGILITY IN GETTING INDIAN JUDGES TO PROLONG THE CASES FOR TENS OF YEARS

4. UN-BELIEVABLE ABILITY TO NEVER HAVE TO STEP EVEN ONCE IN JAIL, OR TO GET OUT OF THEM,
ALL WITHIN HOURS OF COMMITING HEINOUS CRIMES.
