We don't have much work means lots of security problems. Who knows who wants to create a new job?

You are a looser, rather than appreciating the achievement and hardwork gone behind it you are trivializing it. You cannot even make an resonable comment let alone doing anything in life. Grow up!

Yes, om shanti it was built 50 years ago a brilliant work of a newly independent country. One more thing It will outlast your life, you will be long gone but this bridge will be still there. Hail India.
The bridge is life line of the north east... If some thing happens to the briodge , the surface communication of NE may cut off from rest of the country...It is an engineering marble

Small correction: Marvel_in place of_Marble.
There is one more rail_cum_road bridge Pancharatna_in_Dhubri
and one more coming up parallel_to_Sairaghat in_Guwahati.
Another coming up at_Bogibil(4.5 km_long)_dibrugarh.
One more is coming up at_Sadiya_Tinsukia 4 km_long (that is built by the_army)
and
one more is already there in Kalia_bhomora(_Nagaon_).
Right now there are three_bridges over_Brahmaputra and within 2 years 3 more will be completed. So,you will have six bridges_over_Brahmaputra.I think there are very few rivers in over which six_bridges ranging from 2km_long to 5 km_long exists .
So,donot worry, people of North East will have better communication_facility over the river Brahmaputra very soon.
Anurag_can write a photo feature on all these six bridges and how these are and will be life_line for the people of north east.

All those bridges are across Brahmaputra ,so any one can connect to rest of India, considering that parallel rail lines are being completed in both sides of the river...

om shanti , are other bridges 50 years old. We all know there are other bridges as well so don't try to show that you know a lot. Here we are talking about bridge that has completed half a century and not any other bridge.
The world's longest cross-sea bridge, spanning 36.48 kilometers across the mouth of the Jiaozhou Bay in China's eastern Shandong province, opened to traffic on Thursday, just four years after construction started.
