If you show a person riding bicycle a 2 wheeler, he would be delighted.I think the writer of this article is coming from same background. In what sense this looks beautiful..!!
These coaches are being exported to countries in Africa, for World Bank aided projects. Which is fine? India lags way, way behind China in qualify, finish, durability and technology. If India is serious about improving railways, they should export to BRICS Countries and ASEAN countries. The quality of Indian railways is pathetic.
should remove seats from general coaches so that people can stand easily ,no design reqiured for this change and it may be a first unique change in ralway after independence.
only they can take these coaches, our coaches still remain the same since independence, same old fans, light switches, seats, and window shutters...and not to say of remaining disgusting ndian railways.
It is a shame that common basic needs are sold by the government in public places after 65 years of Independence.
Even for easing and for urinating you have to pay in Railway stations and bus stands. This is our government.
When a railway or bus ticket is purchased by a person, he should be eligible to get every basic need of human being irrespective of his status, till he completes his journey.
In Hotels, restaurants,Public malls people are required to shed money for relieving themselves which is beyond the control of humans in this world including world leaders.
At Railway Stations and Bus stands, they are looting public in the name of providing parking facility to public.

Whenever congress talks of Development , People of India think that they are making another plan of looting public Money .
All govt enteties are mess off - corruption, enefficency, poor quality, low productivity. Say yes to disinvestment and privatilization. Govt can earn even more in taxes, than what it is making from its undertakings
While everyone else, including the mandarins, are offering the most advanced, modern trains, even super-fast ones, this coach factory still churns out obsolete stuff like this from the 1950's.
