Thanks for leaving out the other super power. We are knocked out by cricket exertion or stupidity. On home turf we will always be world champions!

China can never become dominant
by rajan raja on Jan 31, 2012 02:55 AM

Which country can become a dominant in Globe?
The country that contributes more to the world (economically, politically). US did this by helping many European countries and Asian countries.

Whereas China never did anything for the development of any countries. Yes they have more money. But that does not determine the dominant power.

What happens if US and Europe completely bankrupt all the debt? Then China will be the most poorest country. Remember that. Worst case US and Europe will do that to crush China.

Millitarily China is not as competetive as US so forget about China's dominant superpower dream. CHina never did bilateral trade with any country and no one likes China and China can never become dominant

China is not sleeping

One big problem. Too much foreign currency.Dollars and Euro's.And layman knows that Bangladeshi Takka is better performing then the Euro in say greek.Wadowice near Krakow is the place where late Pope John Paul-II was born.I was in Poland when the Pope JP-II promised the poles to get them into Europe.Christian sentiments.Poland hardly has any good Industrial base but become an European Union country.Western Europe calls countries like Poland and Romania the poor EU-zone.Matter of fact is that all poor EU countries are turning to China for help.Weeks back in Davos China promised the EU for help. But where they want to have their pressence; in Brussels-Belgium.Happy Belgium in euphoria give then just behind Brussels airport -Zaventem a location to setup.Chinese strategically had this location in mind a decade ago. That what a Chinese friend of me told me.So these are examples for how China works. They promised to rescue Swedish carmaker SAAB. The kept bargaining for 1.5 year. Result SAAB went bancrupt.Thanx.

Who are responsible for rise of China, fall of US & Europe ?
by Dev Gupta on Jan 30, 2012 10:03 PM  | Hide replies

Its the traders in Wall St. and their cousins in US media, academia who control Washington. This tribe led by Kissinger have systematically misled the US into giving the store away to China. They brought in 100s of thousands of Chinese students, gave them almost free education at the best US universities, then gave them easy Green cards, these US educated Chinese are responsible in sudden rise in China's technical capabilities. Of course in contrast to the Govt. of India, the Govt. of China has been far more energetic in using these technical talent. The other factors are well known outsourcing started with less sophisticated consumer products like shoes, garments and sot toys. But the Chinese quickly absorbed western methods of quality control and just in time manufacturing and were soon assembling computers for export. western MNCs now kow tow to China and give their technology away in order to get a sweet deal.

What can the US do ? Identify the tribe that has siphoned US technology to China and made billions themselves. WithdRewrite Tax code to discourage profiteering by sending US technology & Jobs to China. Punish them starting with Jeff Immelt.

What can India do ? Call in all NRIs from US and elsewhere and develop a national crash program to catch up with China in manufacturing & technology. Then with Japanese help quickly build a railway from Assam to Vietnam so India can become a Pacific power and replace China as the source of manufactured products for
