Te purpose is good. The credibility of Govt depts and officials is at a very low ebb and Data Security is a major concern, why concern, a big worry. The whole population's biometric records if not secured properly, there will be a lot of victims.
The planning commission and others involved in the project only talk about positive things and what they are going to achieve. They do not talk about at what cost. Whose money it is after all? An ececutive order can spend such a huge sum on and by an Individual "Nandan".
Why do not they explain how they are organising, which agencies they are involving, which software programmes and companies are being selected for the job, to which country theu belong/ etc. etc... before they finally embark upon it. Transparency is required. Of course, Montek, PM and Cong are averse to transparency in almost all matters. An article appeared long before in one of the websites, about involvement of a Pakistani Software Giant closely known to 'Nandan' Do we need such kind of people as project coordinators? Can anybody list the positions occupied by 'Nandan" at the mercy of the powers that be?
Totally, Aadhar is a clear example of "People taken for a ride"
