Hey M0r0n, how can you compare something in Bombay and in Miami. If you see houses in NY they more or less like Antilla.

I kinda agree. Not all houses in bombay are ugly looking and for chrissakes, you spend 1 Billion dollars and still can't get the aesthetics right... pleaseee... the architects/designers screwed up big time.

People think Mukesh 'SPENT' 1 Billion dollars for the house. How Silly!!
The area where the house is situated commands a premium of 70000 to 90000 per suare feet. So if Mukesh builds 1 lac or 2 lac suare feet then the value of the house will sure run into a BILLION DOLLARS. He should possibly have spent few million dollars in construction and design - thats all.
we should aim to have 10% level of finish and maintenance of this in our cities. look at the amount of money and time spent.
really in private sector, indians can do such resorts. but in public area it is IMPOSSIBLE !!! look at public areas in USA, they are almost as good as this $150m private resort !!!

I have stayed here for 2 nights at the price of 90 $ / night. It is really affordable. And I agree with the details posted above. It has excellent ambiance.
With US economy being stripped to its worse, it would be hard to earn enough from the resort to maintain it. I wonder if this is the reason why the current owners are selling it
such things happen only in USA. with the money coming from Middle East, in Kerala , if land is available (?) can happen but sorry no space.Understand how much money Keralites are having in Middle eastern countries, dubai, s.arabia etc ?
