The IT Act was raped and plundered by an FM for ulterior motives, the long established tradition of a very well informed and expert IT officers (both promotees and IRS), keen to learn and alert to the emerging case laws, was deliberately destroyed over decades by the bureaucrats (read: Revenue Secretaries from the IAS) ably supported by the corrupt IRS heavyweights reigning in the CBDT, the department thoroughly denuded of the minimum semblance of integrity and shame by an acquisitive society, and now the judiciary cutting at the roots of any initiative to be taken by a minuscule number of IRS officers in the IRS, will negate the existence of the huge and irrelevant paraphernalia called the IT Deptt. Why not do away with taxes and restore the Mughal tradition of paying "nazrana" rather to the ruler(s)?

Must all in power or position be prepared to sell the country?The whole nation is corrupt and suffers from "corruption syndrome" as is clear from the news of a "clean" {and "simple") CM's kin's high profile wedding slated for today! The author has indeed done a great and courageous job at the cost of enraging the judiciary known for its very critical level of "sensitivity quotient".
