When Air India is making 2000 CRORE Rupees losses in a year, and the King of birds spends as much on his tingling Calendar beauties, how can a gain on account of local taxes on ATF make much difference to the bottom line of the Airlines ??? There will not be any bottom at all for anybody to pinch, even if he desired so !!!

Just cut down taxes, duties on Indigenous Production, this is the easiest and most effective way to resolve the issue. Reliance is being forced to export due to high taxes, now Reliance will help import at low rates, effectively they will supply from jamnagar, but the GOI will manipulate duties and taxes to fool the people. Let us learn to keep things simple.

A committee of empowered ministers should also include CFOs from reputed industrial leading companies forming Bureau of Costs and Prices to study working and problems if any and to find solution taking care of interests of consumers, prices to cater for cost production of products and services and reasonable profit. The industries should invest from their sources for the cost of any expansion of capacity ,diversion of manufacture of products, services etc. should not be charged to
consumers.Taxes should be charged on cost of products /services with reasonable profit comparable to lower of costs within India and outside.
