Wuhan has 3 class-S（highest class in China）Train station, Hankou Station (8 platforms 16 lines, Victoria style); Wuchang Station(9 platforms 18 lines, Chinese traditional style); Wuhan Station(11 platform 22 lines, Future style). 3 stations will be connected by subway by end of 2013 and also the airport. Wuhan has a plan of 32 line subway to mash this giant city.
shanghai subway connected Pudong and Puxi which r two main regions of shanghai divided by Yangtze river(or called Huangpu river for the part in shanghai).Nanjing subway crossed the Yangtze river as well. but Wuhan subway is by tunnel under the river and shanghai and nanjing is throng the bridges...

Shanghai Huangpu river is just a small tributary of Yangze, and Nanjing doesn't have cross river subway. Wuhan alway's the fist one to cross the Yangze by bridge, by tunnel and by subway. It is the cross point of China mainland. Corss point of Yangze and its largest tributary Han jiang river(Han people for this Han), Cross point of HSR train from Beijing to Guangzhou(HK soon) and Shanghai to Chongqing(Chengdu soon). 1M college students studying here and biggest steel, car and optical industry center of China.

I had an opportunity to work in Wuchang for 2 years and seen how these guys work in building subway. It is shocking and great to see them building subway in whole Wuhan city within 12 months. While in India they take many years to complete a single phase work. Appreciate Chinese infrastructure work and wish to visit Wuhan again someday.
Lets celebrate the achievement of engineers and technicians of China. Its a some feat, awesome to say the least. This country never fails to astonish the whole world with its singlr minded focus on growth, development and above all on being a true leader.Something we should learn from them.

ok..so? dubai is also doing it...tallest tower..tallest restaurant and stuff....
We would also like to have some tallest and largest but then thats not the thing that we want the politicians to achieve...we want better livelihood, opportunities, house, jobs and healthy environment and yes freedom..:)
