skewd growth in india
by brian crasto on Jan 28, 2013 10:52 AM

Its a misconception that India was in race with China. China has grown in leaps and bound but India's corruption has grown geometrically.
There was a time when businessmen use to fund election. But now politicians have directly become businessmen. Its said that prajapati bane vyapari toh janta bane bikari. Today there is hardly any research from large companies. Best way is to bribe and get through. The poor are become poorer and the rich richer. Indias growth was dead long time back.

true article
by Suhrud Patel on Jan 28, 2013 10:49 AM

This article is something very important , which was required for a long time , this is a open truth , but strangely we all indians fail to understand and keep on electing the same old UPA jai ho.......
In fact , the unprecedented growth from 2004-2008 was more due to the good work done by Vajpayee Govt. .... The first statement made by Mr. Chidambram after UPA victory of 2004 was :' THANKS TO VAJPAYEE GOVT. THAT WE HAVE INHERITED ECONOMY IN PINK OF ITS HEALTH'... THIS STATEMENT WAS MADE ON DD AND ALL LEADING CHANNELS.
WHAT IS THE STATE OF INDIAN ECONOMY NOW? CAN HONORABLE FM MR. CHIDAMBRAM MAKE ANY COMMENTS?

Uppercastes

All fruits of growth are benefiting uppercastes and influential.
Rich and influential are having free say in govt.

Dalits and Muslims should revolt and correct nation's path of progress which is nothing short of recklessness.

THE ECONOMY WILL FIND IT VERY DIFFICULT TO RECOVER
by Vascado on Dec 16, 2012 09:18 AM

Boom and recession are permanent features in a capitalist model of governance. The reason for the current economic crisis is the killing made by the Capitalists during the boom period between 2006-2008 period where a commodity and reality boom engulfed throughout the World due to the cheap money policy adopted by the federal bank. Now the Corporates went on a borrowing spree anticipating more growth in the years ahead and they were under an impression that they can make merry for ever. But with the imminent collapse of the US and European economies, all their plans went haywire and they had a huge pile up of debts which in the interrugnum evaporated their fresh investment plans. Starved of capital, the Indian Banks which always favour the borrower more than the saver had their NPA margins growing beyond reasonable limits and the all this had the perfect recipe for a hard landing. I do not know how the World is going to recover from this collapse. But the recovery is going to be hard.

Doomsday Pictures
by BS on Dec 16, 2012 08:56 AM  | Hide replies

This is just another doomsday article. If u provide rice @ Rs 2/- per KG and free TV,Free House, rree education nobody is going to work and this will slow down economic growth.

The place where i live the labour salary per day is rs 350/- per day minimum or unskilled worker and Rs 500-600 per day for skilled workers. yet, you can not get them. Many small industries are suffering due to shortage of labour. Agriculture and farming has gone for a toss as virtually no labour available in these sectors.

I sometimes wonder why some part of our country has population below poverty line and other parts reeling under labour shortage.

Hope some so called economists can explain this.

When politicians like the great great alagiri( A big time rowdy who does every conceivable nonsense is elected as leader to show them the path what can this guy show who is a big time goonda.) son who is locked up for illegal granite mining and very patriotic politician to innovative loot people and country of its resources. If this is caliber of people leading the country what can you expect. Do you think you will get prosperity? Even the guy who wrote this article is so disoriented and has a bad hangover from the whisky he had yesterday that the headlines and the opening sentences about some street in Chennai do not have any relevance.

HEADING FOR AN ECONOMIC CRISIS
by Suraj Agarwal on Dec 15, 2012 07:06 PM

Every politician, bureaucrat, panchayat head and person holding any office of power big or small is innocent, then were is all the money going??

In a nuclear family what is the maximum needs of that family.1 house, 2 cars, 1 two wheeler, food, clothing etc. All this can be had and too on a grand scale within 5 Crores and you can save for the future also.

Then why this greed ? Why should you want 100's of crores and stash into foreign A/cs and deprive those who are really needy.

It is senseless. Surely Mrs.Gandhi would not have purchased a kilo of wheat from her own pocket in the last decade, but she still eats daily.

Their appetite is never satiated they want more & more even though they have no use for it.

We park our ill-gotten gains in foreign lands and hanker after foreign investment (FDI).When rich can afford to buy a diesel car for lacs, why should he get subsidized diesel? Why isn't the subsidized portion added to the extended running life of the car(we overuse everything) and that portion be remitted to fuel A/c of the country. Government is the biggest spender!!!

Let all the Raja'S & Rani's know that this country is as much theirs as ours. When the foreigners come to rule again, they will not spare any one.Especially those " Who are not loyal to their own country, how can they be loyal to them " get them first.

If only we utilize our own wealth judiciously we will not need any foreign aid. We have sufficient reserves in all fields.Greed exc
