Except Australian Cities & Singapore, living in rest of them would be very difficult during winters.

Freezing cold.

Think about it
by idris hafiz on Dec 16, 2012 04:23 PM  | Hide replies

Off all the worlds 30 best cities to live in, mentioned, think about it only 8 % of the world's population lives in those cities. We Indians like to debate on such petty issues. Why don't we make our cities worthy of living in? I really feel India is a vast land with many countries in it and no Indians. Everybody will do something for their city and state but nothing for the country. Religions, caste system, languages and states have divided the country in such a manner that development is next to impossible. And to top it up our system is CORRUPT to the core. JAI HIND.

Mumbai is the best

On all categories listed above on the basis of which these cities have been ranked, I bet Mumbai will beat every city hands down...

For a true mumbaikar, there is no city like Mumbai in the whole world.

sachin is currently out of form, otherwise he has single handedly managed to win many matches for India in the past....

Cricket in India got this kind of huge fan following only due to Tendulkar...

There was a time when ppl used to switch off their TV's the moment Tendulkar got out. These days the poor legend is going thru a bad phase and I guess he hangs up his boots..

about those who think Mumbai is the best

its the disease that all mumbaikars suffer from..the logic-defying delusion that mumbai is like heaven on earth and the best city in the whole world..the very same mumbaikars dont mind travelling in train for 2 hrs, smelling smebodys armpits, swimming in sweage water during rains and living in a house thats not bigger than a store-room in any other city..moreover, mumbaikars dont hav a life..all they wanna do is watch TV and baliwud movies..no habits like reading, swimming, jogging, visiting culturally important places like museuems etc..u cant blame them..to decide to travel to any place in mumbai is like going for a war..ones soul gets drained with the heat, dirt, crowds and pollution

surprise to see Mumbai mentioned in this forum...
by Chicago Male on Dec 10, 2012 07:37 PM  | Hide replies

I am surprised to see some people mentioning Mumbai. Mumbai is a gutter. Have you seen it in rainy season? Have you seen the number of instrances of mosquitoes related diseases Dengue, Malaria? Mumbai is a tropical zoo.
Moreover it has the most corrupt police hands down. If you dont believe me try reading the times of india and other news paper from last week. Police actually try to frame you in false cases instead of protecting you.
So don't ever mention Mumbai in the elite list. It's a gutter in a 3rd world country.
