Our systen is such that we can not do better and do not try for. The system should be change and more renovation to be done, so that we can the change in economy. we sould closed the unprofitable organisation, ultimately genral public are paying for surviving the organisation. Or give it to some one who can make profit and give fruit to general public directly or indirectly.

indian system is such that every one considers himself too intelligent and others a fool if he gets a chance TO WIN A SEAT AND BE AT THE TOP at the expense of the country or the organisation . PEOPLE who want to serve the nation are kicked off at thrie back all the time to deprive them of the authority . just on language or cast basis /
Did you ever travel in "the additional sleeper" provided by LALU? I am sure you would not be praising LALU. Pl. do some more detailed research on how he manipulated the pricing.

I can bet...NO...anybody who traveled in the coaches with the additional berth would never have appreciated this....BTW, does the trains run late because of low fares?

I never traveled in the additional sleeper so you may be right but it seems right. Today people have to wait almost one month before they can get ticket. Such innovations in Indian context can get more passengers to their destination.

I have traveled many times with Waitlisted tickets and for me it was Heaven when i got accommodation in the additional berth. Pl look into the fate of those 100 passengers in each train who have gone without berth. Railways could have allotted these births to those on Waitlist who otherwise did not get berth - they will be very happy and praise Lalu for the accomodation.
By saying that railways became profitable during Lallu's tenure, author is trying to legitimize his avatar as Ramalingam Raju for railways. If Lalu was a boon for Railways, why Ramalingam Raju is in Jail. After all Lallu also cooked the accounts of Railways like Raju did for Satyam.
So why is Lallu not in jail for fraudulent business practice???
