That is the only reason and nothing else. That is also the reason why Air India was deliberately ruined. Kingfisher was made to ruin itself and Mallya was told to just concentrate only on liquor business.Jet airlines was threatened to go slow. Maran brothers of spicejet were threatened with 2 G scam cases. So what is left in India except IndiGO?

who threatened Jet, KF and AI; they are badly managed. Yeah, Spicejet is having excellent chances of expansion, as Marans have huge black money stashed away and are waiting to pump in at an appropriate time. BTW the story of Indigo is quite inspiring, reason GMP, they have done this from the day one

Impressed..You got it all right ..It's was planned.. I have few friends and relatives in Air India and one of the thing that come out is decision are deliberately delayed to benefits other private airlines...sometime no decision. You get punished for bad decision ..No decision or late decision go unoticed.
If you are international passenger returning back India , Indigo is not the best choice . It will charge you for excess luggage more than 20 KG. Since majority of international flights allow >30kg ,you land up paying excess money to Indigo. For local passenger Indigo is he best.

If you are an international passenger and travelling between Canada and US then Air canada and US airlines will charge you for EVRY BAGGAGE as they allow ZERO baggage policy between US and Canada !!???

no, their flight charges are almost like Jet or KF. Indigo's success is that they started operations a low profile and expanded slowly unlike KF
I had really nice experience flying with them. Though, once or twice you can say that the one of the staff did'nt behave as they should have bee. However, its not the fault of the company on a whole. They have super clear flights, on time arrivals and departures and a nice ambiance overall.. Far better than all the other players in the market.
I was disappointed with the way the staff talked and have decided not to go with them in future. The staff at luggage check in were rude and they are serving ice cold roti, which normal human cannot eat. me and my friend literally through away the food as it was so cold. We felt sorry why we had ordered the food while booking the ticket.

If you prepay a meal then price of the highest value item is charged. The cheaper choice if you would have made is none of their business. Meals are served cold as a rule here but you can ask them to heat it and get it back. Its purely the laziness and lack of concern of the crew.
