INFOSYS should open another campus in ODISHA
by Rajib Dhal on Aug 19, 2012 11:00 AM

INFOSYS should seriously think about another campus ( excluding that Bhubaneswat 2nd Campus) in ODISHA . Probabaly in North Odisha ( Baleswar) or in South ODISHA ( Berhampur) . Odisha has huge resource of technical skill people ( they are engaged in IT city like Hyd, Bang, Pune, Chen, Noida) and it is offering World class infrastructure . Although the state has a very good record of Industrial harmony .
Infosys Should think abt this matter seriously

Infosys has good capmpuses , this is paid news and trying to woo new consultanat . They had been in news for many bad reasosn so trying to hide that by this news .
Infoysy may have good buildings but what about people ?
Most if their managers do not engage in IT work rather they are just trying to rip money out of the peers and put into mutual funds . A new comer in Infosys literally gets robbed by seniors .
They dont have any HR function . Recruiting is alredy hijacked by out souricng agencies . You have to pay money every where like a Govt office .
All the consultants in Infosys keeep playing Husband-wife game most of the time for the day .
All the new recruits and even exsting consultants need to have a external sponsoring agency (like some kind of Mutts or specific Cast sangham etc) and everybody has to pay money from their sallary to these ageencies . These agencies are now so out of control that they govern who should recuruited , who should do what . They perform HR functions literally .
In US mostly Gujjus and Punjus rob the Infosys consultanats and get their money to put into investment.
Infosys is alive curently paratlly due to these Custome service !
but if they wwant to survice they need to get new clinets and do only IT work .
They are surviving on exissting big financial giants but slowly Cognizant is overtaking them in their own fields

Infosys should come to Faridabad also. A very economical place but central location to Delhi, Gurgaon & Noida

India is becoming an investment risk these days
by Sam on Aug 18, 2012 05:48 PM  | Hide replies

Things have changed a lot in last 10 years. India is an investment risk due to unpredictable political leaders, weak leadership at center, corruption, lack of infrastructure, power outages, water shortages, constant border wars, riots, unpredictable law and order problems. Country may even break apart. who knows.

Just coding skills ain't enough. I can find it elsewhere.

I will not hang my hat on it.
