I wonder whether sccoters are still preferred by the single riders. The motor bike has driven the scooter from the market. In fact Bajaj moved over to manufacturing motor bikes a long time ago. Today the SUVs are preferred for the country roads. I don't think Piaggio is seriously contemplating for the Indian market. It is just some form of market advertisement to make sure that the public still remembers this company.
The biggest white collar employee of the Italians (seen playing second fiddle here) is the gas bag in white who has been the white collar employee of the Italians -- standing next to the (token) Sardar -- right from Bisleri and Bosca days.
Sons of Soil can only kill any country. If we need to become a strong economic power, we need to develop talent, better work ethics, high per person productivity and high quality products. It does not matter which part of India the person belongs to, as long as Indians achieve it and we succeed together. Politicians should keep away from these gimmicks

You don't worry about sons of soil issue with Sharad Pawar, the richest politician after Sonia Gandhi. He is only bothered about himself and his daughter. He has taken up this issue for getting something for his pocket
industrialists and business persons invest on the basis of availablity of material and human resources, logistics, profitability. to ask them to provide jobs to locals, and invest in social development programme like, roads, water, santation, hospitals, schools is not very apt one. to me it looks like that the government shirks it's responsibility in such aspects. charge the license fee, tax them correctly and collect it efficiently but to ask them to build social infrastructure i feel is not correct but a political statement.
