Horrible journalism!
by The Democracy on Apr 27, 2012 04:48 AM  | Hide replies

This is not journalism. This is an article written by a jealous and foolish person.

Why is the journalist so much interested to check ligality of the business?

These people are not doing any crime. They work 15 hours a day and take risk to make gold from dirty mud.

If they work hard and make some money what is the problem Ms journalist?

There are so many big criminals in the country. Why dont you write about them instead of questioning legality about a few poor and hardworking people trying to make some money?

The journalist is fool, because she doesn't understand that she is trying to take away bread from these poor workers. If govt officers stop these workers after reading this article, these people will be jobless. May be some of these people will become thives. Probably the journalist too can become a victim one day!

If west bengal (or India) is suffering of proverty, it is because of such people who can't stand prosperity of others. The journalist is surely one who wants more poor in the country.

The govt staff was right in responding to the journalist by saying "We are government staff. We have no time to waste on some baseless media allegation.".

Those poor men allowed the journalist at their work place, let her take snaps, call her "didi" (sister) and then the journalist writes an article that attempts to take away food from those workers!

To everything there are two ways of looking at it. If they are really poor people escaping from Bangladesh then it is not wrong to help them. After all this business of Partitoning the country, for religion or whatever, is strictly the business of the Upper Class people of India. Traditionally the Lower people have been only passive receipents and victims, not guilty themselves of creating the conditions under which they suffer.

In view of this, formal legal and political Partition of the Land is not enough moral grounds for not helping the poor victims.
