All of them combined do not even touch the 10th Largest company.

these figures r changing year after year. In 2008, 2009 two yrs HSBC was the no1 in this list, and Exxon mobil is always in top 10.

DEAR Deepak its always the petroleum and energy sector companies which has the highest net worth and market capitalization, can u imagine your life without petrol .Go to any country's top market valued comapny its always from an energy and oil sector.Moreover companies like google ,microsoft and apple have far less net worth compared to petroleum companies

all these companies are selling their goods in international markets.. indians even today think of only local market. i guess we will never be able to capture the europe and americas if we be conservative like this.. see how china has gone in each market and now taking a lead.

do our MBAs study anything about international business or still how to sell comb to a bald guy.

None of these Chinese companies (Most of these are Chinese banks or Oil Companies that are government controlled) are non existent in US and Europe.

can any body tell how many of u have heard of such big companies !!! Rediff is more worreid about world s companies than the local companies which we need to support to uplift them to international standard !!
