I don't have much respect for software geeks! First of all, there is nothing new and interesting about programming every middle class family has one girl or boy struggling and boring his guts out to write a program for software companies. there is no growth and there is lots and lots of competition. since there is no creative left in the job, the whole crowd of no-brainers seem to be slugging at it! in my opinion, a basic computer is a product. windows is a product. every else is just an add on and does not qualify to be a product. Like the idea of making a cleansing soap is a product. Thinking that up was entrepreneurial. Putting strawberry in as a flavour is only an add on. making it transparent is only an add on. add on's are only inspirations from someone else's work. i dont see any motivation to make or do an add on.

I don't understand what is your point here. so,in your opinon only microsoft and intel are the real comapanies. do you know companies like SAP, ORACLE which are application based companies which are equally big. first learn what is software before writing these 5tupid comments.

Much bigger product stories need to publicize
by Captain India on Apr 13, 2012 10:13 AM  | Hide replies

This young men has done great. But there are other stories that needs to be published as well.

For eg :
- Zoho Corp
- Kayako
- Zylog and many others
they all are India based product companies, they deserve more limelight so young engineers don't just think about job.

They are not Indian companies, but franchisees run by Indians.
So no need to publicize them.

Idiot, they are indian companies, do your own home work. Their founders are Indians, however when they grew, they had to register under US because that's where their customers are.
