USELESS
by Joy Augustine on Nov 20, 2012 10:17 PM

Aadhhar as it is today is useless as an identity.
Today I had gone to the passport office at Thrissur for a replacement of a passport which had faded writing. The drivers licence, the Voters identity card were available. the name on the passport was ----ta but on the above 2 documents ended as ----tha. though it was very clear that it is the same person, the spelling had a mistake. I suggested that my daughter had an Aadhhar Id with the correct spelling. However it was indicated to me with a smug smile that it is a uselss document. So much for the efforts of the Govt. and Nandan Nilekani. Not even worth the paper it is printed on.So much money wasted by the Govt. Nandan Nilekani please NOTE.

Proud of u Nandan Nilekani. Gr8 job. A centralized identification was much needed in India. With billion of people this will help everywhere, just like SSN.
