Will Modi succeed in bringing Maruti to Gujarat ?
by gianender malhotra on Oct 23, 2011 01:25 PM

I am 100% sure that Modi will definitely bring Maruti to Gujarat. He is one of the finest Chief Minister of India. One should not feel jealeous of him but should be brave enough to face the competition. Other states should take the cue from dashing Chief Minister and frame industry friendly policies so as to attract industries to their states rather than filling their own coffers and depositing black money so collected in foreign banks. As well known Modi's way of working,on the spot clearances and necessary permission is granted in the meeting with CM and his team of officials in his office. Good luck to Modi and best wishes for his tenure as Chief Minister.

Maruti coming to Gujrat
by Kamalbehari Lal on Oct 23, 2011 01:11 PM

As Modi offering land and rebates to Maruti, most of the comments are negative. Why nobody is asking the cost benefit analysis of the proposal. I think the loss of agricultural land will be more than compensated by employment generation and taxes. Also it will encourage more ancillary industries giving all
round development.

Maruti dont come to Tamil Nadu
by duraiswamy srinivasan on Oct 21, 2011 08:54 AM  | Hide replies

Maruti dont come to Tamil Nadu we the people of Tamil Nadu lose Valuable cultivable land and our cows and other living beings lose grazing land but the companies like Hyundai(Strictly follows the rule of recruiting only out of Tamil Nadu people)also others like Ford do the same, even the late comer Nissan recruited only people from Karnataka Maharashtra Border areas so for not giving employment to locals why they come and occupy our lands better you too go for Gujarat we will be happy that no more illigal immigrants come from other states in to Tamil Nadu there by more robbers are now in Tamil Nadu.

You are talking about illegal migrant, you will be happy to know that mumbai is full of tamilians and are doing well. When Tamilians can come out of Tamilnadu & work all over whay are you opposing others work in Tamilnadu. This is not good thinking on your part.

Maruti can think of the state Karnataka for their project; Hubli could be ideal choice as the city is between Karnataka and Mah. The state is abundant with skilled people; and the state Govt is investors friendly

Other politicians should stop taking money
by Jay Shah on Oct 21, 2011 06:15 AM  | Hide replies

If the politicians in the other states stopped stuffing their Swiss bank accounts, they could afford to grant incentives greater than Gujarat. Can't have your cake and eat it too, can you?

I agree that the write up quotes the meaningless comments of Congress politicians. These political idiots do not have any logic or reason. By offering sops to industry, the govt definitely provides employment to thousands

Everything too much always has consequences
by shayaz on Oct 21, 2011 03:35 AM  | Hide replies

Good competition is always good for people. But what Gujarat doing is just mean competition which will increase more distances among people.
As far as freebies concerns, I dont think companies are just relying on that. All states(or say politicians) provides many freebies to all companies who take care of those politicians' personal interests. Gujarat's bureaucrats are much more efficient than other states and hence companies will not have to wait for months to get their files clear.

What is your standard of measurement of meanness. What DMK started in 1967 (Lingustic problem) is only creating problem in Telengana now. So also what mean politics started by other are being paid back to them.
