101 for Dummies on the Wadia Group

For those who are p*ssing here with foolish comments
a)A legacy is defined from the paternal side. The Wadias are GUJARATI PARSIS with paternal ancestors coming from Surat and hold roots in the Gujarati Lohana Walia community. In addition subsequent generations showed Indian-NESS in embracing other religions.
b)As for the maternal side Jinnah was an eminent lawyer who helped in the Indian freedom struggle against the British. It was the politics of ambition between Nehru and Jinnah that led to 2 different countries.
c)The Wadias are most uniquely positioned to have a 200 plus year Indian legacy with a so called rival country also respecting and endearing them.
d) Not all companies care for daily stock speculations because their focus is on real fundamentals not on fluff. However film actresses who only survive on fluff won’t understand this.
e)They are busy in their own business, revered on the exchanges and don’t have time for rivalry with other business houses. Even if there was 0.001% truth in this evil view that there were Gujarati lobbies against them to counter that there is all the more reason for Ness Wadia a Gujju Parsi to settle down with a Gujju girl to reaffirm their Gujarati roots– Ting!

Gujarati boycott
by abhishek agarwal on Oct 11, 2011 09:36 PM

One big reason for Bombay Deying's decline is its boycott by the Dalal street, which is dominated by Gujjus and favours the Reliance group. This automatically translates into hatered for Bombay Deying which was accused of trying to do a hostile takeover of Reliance in the 80's during Dhirubhai's days.
