I just joined this thing REDIFF... I just returned from 6 consecutive tours from Africa to Saudi Arabia and back.... I am hoping to share my collective knowledge and inform... Least not should I find out this might be another commie tool site... The Chinese are hard working Indurious people but their Govts. quest for world dominance and military superioity took presidence in the last 15 years since our first gulf war unveiled all our super toys, China took notes... They enrichened espianage to weaken developing nations... China funnels money to weaken developing spots around the globe... Wake up people and read the U.S. State Dept. reports... Even my own Govt. pays this no mind and it miffs even the spooks writting those reports... Lets hope web sites like this one let the truth out not keep it within their power of controls... That is communal communism... I stand against censure period.

Hey Sharad. The truth is India is slow but it is far better place to grow up than China. Greatness should not be scaled only by economic parameters. The fact that you can write India is an embarassment is strength of our country. Think man, the villagers are working 7 days a week as reported. They have no life. You cannot say anything agaist the government. But here no matter how bad state we are in, we can shout out loud and express.
The communists in China, unlike the communists in India, have great will power to develop their country by working hard and the government has the support of its people to improve in every field without any impediments. Our politicians have no intention to develop this country except fighting with each other in the name of corruptions, scams etc., and filling their pockets and adding wealth to their own family by misusing their power and status. Recently investigations in varius scams and arrest high profile politicans are the just few examples. Jai Hind.

India's democracy is fake (dummy). Get over it. There is NO real choice and whoever is elected, does NOT represent the people of the country, or have the care, love, tollerance, respect and well-being of the 1.2 billion nation. It's the same everywhere. Every government is ruled by a secret hidden hand and follows orders from its secret master.

I liked your intelligent statement... In a few words you told the truth... I forecast a haneous war in the future... India needs to collect themselves and people need to point the finger at who is causing the issues... Unfortuantely CHINA has a grip on the goods the world uses... Intellects like ours need to spell it out... Let India pull themselves back together and resist the CHINESE overlords...

I fully agree India should resist Chinese-made goods. There will be war between India and China, because that is what the Western-dominated Global Elite want and steal both nations valuable resources. India should always resist this. India needs to not only boycott Chinese-made goods, but also goods manufactured from EVIL countries that still invade, steal, colonize, terrorize and STILL secretly rule others (from the Western Hemisphere countries).

You are right in you observations, the US and their ilk may be bad, but in the position of a supeopower they are better anyday compared to China.

so what exactly are the multi-industries that they listed? it looks like a socialist co-op model rather than capitalist one. anyway ,we should study this closely. no point just admiring
Rediff has taken a contract to promote china. Every third article is about china. china great in this, china great in that. We know china is great, don't have to keep reminding and advertizing.
