It is important to note that indian salaries are still very low and majority of Indians are earning very less. If they should think of buying air tickets then ticket should be available for around 500 Rupees. But if we see the price of an average ticket, it is well above 4000 Rupees. So, these airlines had to fail some day. Indian airlines looted indians when they had monopoly and it deserved to die for that reason.

Actually, the opposite is true. Forward caste, especially the Brahm*n caste was usurping all the benefits from Air Inda, and BSNL. I know of a guy from the forward caste (Brahm*n) who is a married guy, and works in US, but, flies free of cost from US to India and vice-versa, since his Dad retired from Air India!!! What a scandal the forward caste were comitting in Air India!!
