success story of manappuram
by raman govindan on Nov 03, 2011 06:18 PM

the hindu news paper,s rural editor who had campaigned against the money lenders should read the column. only governments both state and center, can forego the principal and the interst by waiving the loans given to farmers and villagers. because it pays out from the tax collected. the purposes for which the tax are collected do not get the funds or provided lesser amount.

the people who want to return the loan go to private money lenders and who do not want to return it go to govt. backed loan melas and co op societies.

the lesson on manappuram's success is that
resources with individual, private corporations or with governments should be efficiently and properly used and not thrown away.

Today, the sun (sum) of Rs10,000 that was invested in our IPO is worth Rs 23 lakh (Rs 2.3 million). The market capitalisation of the company is around $1 trillion. (1 billion).

Rs.23 lakhs = Rs.2.3 Million - OK
$1 trillion = 1 billion ???? How is that ????

Krishnan, don't always think from employees point of view... he is not looking for highly qualified for all the posts where he doesn't require and salary will be less. If he pays more salary then he will have to increase interest rate and will have to close the business... Same you guys will tell he is looting if his interest rates are higher than now to increase salary of their employees...in IT also attrition is high, its bcse some one is paying extra few bucks. So it can happen even if you pay 1 crore salary

Company giving opportunity to get good career for the students who got 80 % and also who got 40% without any partiality. All they want is a single degree as minimum qualification. If u have good marks u can grow as fast as and if ur % is low it will tak elittle more time to get grow. But no company helping such poor candidates. Around 23,000 employees are waiting for the salary & not only them also their households who is living with the support of every employee. If we measure in average every one getting good salary compare to other companies & no company promoting their employees in such fast manner. Also 7 days working is not a big matter & in many companies who has less Mar.Capital forcing thier employees (including IT) to work in many shift but in manappuram it is not like that & u can avail a day as per ur wish in a week as holiday. other than that CL,SL,EL etc., Also the main reason to sun on Sunday is only 100% focus on the customers requirement when all the sources are closed & also they can remit interest or they can settled their account all the 7 days of week that too in the various working hours. So everything is in our point of view. If u see any thing with -Ve thought u see only -ve. See the ve and u can see ve.
