Bengaluru is innovation Hub. So all kinds of projects are being done. These so called competing cities will laugh at Bengaluru trials with innovation. Once a project or concept become successfully implemented they will not only rush and copy them but also claim they have implemented better than Bengaluru. This story we have seen so many times.

fyi, Google street view is available in different countries such as US UK for all the cities. so it is nothing new.
Bengaluru is a innovation Hub, so everything will be tested. Once successfully implemented, it will be copied by all cities and claim they did better and faster than Bengaluru.

Street view feature of Google maps exists since last 1..1/5 years. It was not lauched in india since the streets are not well organised/structured. Google's india office is in Bengaluru and hence they want to start from there. Its not an innovation from Bangalore.

If you do not like any one to see your House etc you can block the view.all you will see is a black sheet in front of your place. It is a easy as that. Faces of people and car number plates are also blocked. So far it hasn't caused problems any where in the world that is on the street view level on Google.

Its wrong you should take permission to display and not other wise Secondly Gateway episode did not happen in other country.

What the home ministry is doing? Is it unable to control Google though they are playing foul play with our country boundaries. At least our great ministers should learn from China how control such entities.
