I am sick of hunting house!
by Sajid Khan on May 28, 2011 05:53 AM  | Hide replies

When ever I approach any builder, their sales team tells only few unit left, all unit are sold!! Rates are going up next week, day by day its like stock market which goes up but does not return to bottom or downward.

I would prefer to rent my self instead of living rented on EMI, banks are charging so much, even NRI has too think twice,

These situations are same like Dubai from 2005-2008, I pray Mumbai real estate market fall like Dubai real estate market and we real buyer has a chance to buy good property for real needs!

Very true. This is an artificial demand created by unscrupulous builder lobby. There is no base for costing. They take 500 times more than their cost. Thats unethical and looting. Very soon, the bubble will burst, when no one take bank loan and no one buys flats. I have friends in the real estate market, who says there are hardly any sales. This happens only in India. Infact, we are to be blamed coz we went on a mad buying spree and fell for builder's tactics

Star new has nothing else to do but to raise doubts about speakasia instead of letting the agencies do their work.worst channel in India.

Hoarding of land!
by shanti Patil on May 27, 2011 12:35 PM  | Hide replies

Builders, politicians, land mafia etc have purchased lots of urban land creating scarcity of land. There is no anti-hoarding law for land that exists for food grains because of this property prices have gone up. Every person cannot and need not be in a position to earn money for his house. He may earn for his food, clothing etc but may not be in a position to earn for the house. Therefore government should bring anti hoarding law for properties and give land to the citizens. People should bear the cost of construction and government should bear the cost of land. Then only every citizen can stay comfortable and work for the development of the country.

Look further out , or live in rented house , the savings you can invest 60% in FD and rest
in stocks of well known companies when they are trading at less than Price / E (EPS) of 10.

sell after it gives you
12% over 3-4 years at peak valuation of above P/E of 18 or higher.

You'll have funds for emergency and future needs.
