Re: 1. How to serve USA better - IITs mandatory syllabus
by B Ram on May 29, 2011 11:49 AM
The preceptions of IITians heading of to US is a thing of the past and most are working in India. I graduated 12 years back and almost all of my batchmates are in India.
You should look it as an absolute FUND DRAIN rather than BRAIN DRAIN for a DEVELOPING COUNTRY. Why the hell our planning masters are keeping silent ? ONLY the 20-year BOND-executors of IIT & IIM should avail subsidized education- others at commercial rates. MUST be implemented immediately.
For allowing to see that their son or daughter after getting subsidised education has migrated or gone to USA!their parents and other family members be held guilty and hanged1No and there should be summary trial! After checking that their ward has gone to uSA for work their parents be hanged in public! No mercy for these good for nothing IITians .....
1. Majority of IITtians go to the US to work in MNC after doing their MS. What use is that to India? They become US Citizens after that
2. Majority of IIM (The IITians who didnt go to US) will go Europe/Singapore/USA to work for MNC's and contribute to their growth.
Now if IITians and IIMers can say that it is their talent and there is no need to give back, then why subsidize IIT/IIM? Increase the fees and make it fully private.
I wish I had a Money printing press based on which I could hire back IIT and IIM People back to India!! Alas Telgi ruined my chances
must sign a contract that they will serve the country for atleast 2-3 years before they can decide on their fortune. Not only IIT but all graduates receiving govt. grants. After all, I am a Bsc grad who started my career with mere Rs. 2000 and worked my way up the corporate ladder and came up to a level of paying 2 lakhs as income tax last year. With all this hardwork, I dont crib on paying tax if its used for good purposes. There is no difference between a corrupt politician who loots the country on the name of some project and a graduate who enjoys subsidized education here and running abroad to earn big bucks.
