Indian Railways are run like a public utility at very low passneger fares. This is the case in Europe or Japan too. But in France & Germany the Railways get a lot of Govt. subsidy. The same needs to happen for Indian Railways. But the Railways need to first improve their operations using current facilities before any new projects are allowed. Projects initiated by Lalu Prasad for Bihar, new Locomotive factories, should be CANCELLED as expansion of current factories in Varanasi & Chittaranjan will be a lot cheaper and get going faster. What Indian Rwy needs to focus on is cost - cutting of new projects using technology adopted from overseas. China has been very successful in this regard and now has 8,000 miles of High Speed Rail. There is no excuse for India not being able to do that, say between Bangalore and Chennai or Hyderabad.

What do you actually have in mind? Come out frankly. Ministerial Fuction requires skills which has nothing to do with secularism, if you know the meaning
I don't know how of you know, Mukul Roy is alreay a central minister - no one knows his performance in last 2 years - good, bad or ugly. He came to news recently for the following reasons - 1. Forcing bank to issue demand draft for more than one crore rupees in cash, whereas the max. permissible amount is Rs.50K by cash. 2. He is the father of the TMC MLA candidate who beat election official and was arrested by police. No doubt, he'll the perfect fit in Mr. MM Singh's illustrious cabinet.

Rahul Gandhi?? Gulam Nabi Azad? Are you joking?
These are not toy trains in his Mommy's backyard for Rahul baba. This is real stuff Dilipji. Rahul Gandhi will has to first practice playing with toy trains for a few more years, until his mental age gets close to something close to 16.
As for Gulam nabi Azad, he is better of doing what he does best, do backdoor deals and hide blackmoney for the Sonia Rahul coterie.
