Because BJP and Left as corrupt as Congress. CWG scam now starting to encircle the BJP as well. The CVC’s Chief Technical Examiner (CTE) has indicted the MCD for several projects undertaken by it for the CWG. The MCD is ruled by the BJP. Charges include intentionally delaying projects so that prices could be jacked up in “national interest”, poor quality of work etc.
Unless you bribe the tax collector some amount over and above the tax, he will not accept the tax, and ask you to come up with this challan, that challan etc. etc.
Please demonetize ! Please stop printing currency notes in denomination of 1000 and 500 and also ask the Govt. to withdraw all these notes from existing people too. Such notes should be banned and people having notes 1000 and 500 notes should be encouraged to exchange it for 100s, 50s, 10s.
This is the only way to curb corruption atleast to a certain good extent, if not fully get rid of it. Atleast try.

The law making machine makes laws every year, but doesnt prune and remove unnecessary laws. Moerever multiciplity of agencies invoved to get a simple permission, increases corruption. E.g Maneka Gandhi brought law for tree felling. Now, an orchard owner, even to fell a dead tree or lop growing branches has to take permission from forest deptt and SDM/Patwari. Both have to be greased. Sometimes, they are at loggerheads and one of them do not give permission. For a private owner of trees, this law shouldn't exist, else no one will plant his own trees for fear of law and its complexity. Similar, is the case with rent control laws. An outdated law of 1915, still exists in India, whereas it is almost done away with in UK and USA.
