enfield bullet is great
by vaibhav bhosale on May 12, 2011 02:19 PM

enfield 350cc (petrol) is very good bike to drive ..I am sure that there is problem with expert mechanic for same the reason is very less population of these bikes .. these are not good at pickup but they can get higher speed than other bikes .you dont have to care about bumps ,small stones and flaws on the road much . it doesnt leave the road .. I like older model than new one as far as look is concerned .. Diesel bullets are not so recommendable ..though they are very economic ..their vibrations are horrible

New Classic 500 is a waste of money
by aditya razdan on May 12, 2011 11:38 AM  | Hide replies

New Classic is 20kgs lighter, and has small tyres. Over speeds of 100km/hr it leaves ground and wobbles like crazy, difficult to control.

Bike designed and built for 80 Km/hr. Anything more is for racing.

Bullet will not suit for drag races and who leaves the fastest when signal turns green.

Class of people who will be interested in bullet is different.

Service Centers are crap look worse than Junkyards, after sales service, forget it. Spares and hard to find and you would end up buying them in black. If u DRIVE the bullshit it would break down and you would end up spending every weekend @ workshop. I'm talking about a NEW bike. The only morons who rave about a Bullet are the ones who have parked them in their garages and take them out for a small drive one a month. Answer to "What makes Enfield a success in India", is protective Motor laws by the Indian Government which do not allow good technology/ machinery in India.

Have you dropped your balls? that you want a confirmation of being a MAN by driving a Bullet? A MAN is as much confident of driving a Moped as much as a Chopper.

What "senthil vel" said is that "no-man" like you (aditya razdan) can't ride Enfield.

Fantastic bike

On the flip side:

1. Require Passionate care
2. Drinks petrol like we gulp pitchers
3. Need a very good mechanic who is equally passionate

Stability, beat and driving posture will make all the 3 worthwhile

Don't know about ploughing, but the engine of diesel bullet is used to draw water from wells and water their field.
