IT IS GOOD THEAT REALLITY MAFIA IS HOLDING THE PRICE OF THE PROPERTY AS HIGH AS POSSIBLE...
IF THEY DONT DO SO EVERY ONE WILL HAVE HOUSE AT MUMBAI & OTHER METROS AT CHEAPER RATES...
AS NOW 90 % OF UPPER MIDDLE CLASS & MIDDLE CLASS HAVE TAKEN LOANS THAT THEY NEXT TWO GENERATIONS WILL KEEP REPAYING..... MEANS THAT THEY WILL BE BUSY IN WORKING DAY & NIGHT 365 AN YEAR..... (THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE 200% POPULATION IN LAST 5 YEARS)....

What his parents are responsible for increasing the population??? Do you know him and his family?
I think Reserve Bank should increase the repo rates further to discourage those who are investing money in houses not for living. For keeping prices under control govt. should do the following: 1. Allow to have only one house in Mumbai in the name of one person either on his own name or with close kin like wife, kids; not distance relative. 2. Now that UID is soon going to become reality entire data in mumbai related to restration or owner of houses should be in a central server so that the duplicate selling of the houses by builder ( a nusance) or one person going for so many houses to make money and thus adding fire to prices should be checked. This server should be connected with all the restration office so that the moment name of a house purchaser is put immediately the registration office would come to know whether he is owning any house or not or in the event of of duplicate sale of the flat could be known IT should also have such terminal. This will alsio help I.T. authorities to check black money and prices will come down. 3. The other day I was reading that unless a project is approved builders should not be allowed to book houses. 4. People do have lot of black money to invest that is why despite raising repo rates to such a height within short time housing prices are not falling. 5. Builders association must look for national interest too. Think how can they provide dewelling to middle class people in mumbai.Ear mark 10-15% housing at affordable prices.

Good idea, you can try writing it to RBI through its portal. Everyone know that infused black money sky rocket property rates. Apart from it, due to increase in construction cost(inflation, interest rate, high raw material etc), it is difficult to take property prices low(specially flats). Govt is already doing a lot to save people from having multiple houses. It is too late for government but not for us. If we unite and fix the maximum prices then all problem will be solved! Unity will surely solve all such issues.

By giving money to beggars you are only spoiling. Instead, start a company that can employ poor people and let them earn with pride.

Does that mean that you do not give money to beggers in US ;)
I do not think that you really love your motherland, else you would have been in India and helping poors. You are simply amassing the wealth for your own lifestyle which you got addicted to.

Going to USA does not mean a significant achievement. BTW I could not understand your blabber , is it you or your bro in US of A.
The way builders charge for various items when u buy a house, you get baffled. every thing is extra. they mislead on the area also. u r never sure how much carpet area u get finally. their margin is around 30%. if the builders stop being greedy and charge realistically, then houses become affordable. in india, no state govt. has set out strong rules for the builders regarding how they have to inform the customers (except Maharashtra to some extent) regarding the rates. announcements regarding price shall be standardised by Govt.
