Why isnt Skoda fabia or ford figo considered a rival ?!! You even have a dud like UVA and a 8 lac car like Jazz. Clearly this article is a no brainer !!

Why the heck is this so called punto not selling ? Its not an expensive car.. certainly in the same range of i20 or high end swift in terms of cost.. if its so superior people must be in queue to buy that but thats not happening... except a few victims who fell for such great tips ... its a tank like build.. now come on ! no one is going to a battle and a head on collison at 40Kmph will damage any car and impact life anyways...Try to market something more practical rather than singing punto ..punto in all forums

helooo Punto selling in ok numbers and picking up very fastly.. u moron why comparing age old govt copany Maruti with Fiat.. since fiat is much newer it will take time in catching up.. i agree realse is much better for maruti but thn product wise swift's no match to fiat's which every even every maruti insane knws...cheers

even after so many fiat is newer then it will always remain newer. Volkswagon that has come to India long after fiat came is also selling more than punto.
Punto is just not meeting the numbers which fiat had expected. They r merely surviving.
also, punto's petrol engine is no match to swift's k series engine.

NO matter how hard you and your aliases try to paraise Punto on all auto related pages, it is not going to fool Indian customers. People who bought FIAT small cars, right from Uno knows that all FIET cars are going to be flops and it is going to be hard to get service and parts in near future. Add to that zero resale value and you know why none would but your Pun-To. Maruti offers excellent netwrok of sales and services, cheap parts, low maintenance cost and excellent resale value. Take your marketting efforts somewhere else and stop wasting your time here.
After all these years of liberalization you still have the "Indian version" one which will be in few ways inferior to the ones done for "tougher" markets. And the goverment blocks access to the better quality ones from abroad by imposing a 120% duty. And our consumers will play suckers to these lesser grade stuff.

Chevrolet Beat is a competitor to Maruti Ritz, Maruti A-Star, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 etc. which is one rank lower than the segment that is discussed here. The product from Chevrolet in the segment discussed here is Aveo UVA

is no match to Punto/ Fabia european class is diffrent act altoghether... solid build, Ride and handling, safe feel and road grip cannot be matched by cheap Swifts and i20's...choose urself

Go for punto diesel.. you will be delighted, I can tell so atleast for uptil 30K kms :) .. Still going strong, fabulous car esp for highways Punto is king!!
