KSDL bring out an affordable soap for the masses
by kgashwin on May 09, 2011 08:50 PM  | Hide replies

KSDL should come out with a quality product for the masses and not for a few rich and powerful. How many in India can afford to buy this premium soap ? For Rs 500/- a middle class indian house hold can buy their whole year's worth of Soap. Being a Public Sector Company please do bring a product for the masses. That is how you can surely say Be Indian, Buy Indian

Mysore Sandal Soap should come out with a Soap for Masses
by kgashwin on May 09, 2011 08:46 PM  | Hide replies

Mysore Sandal Soap should come out with a affordable soap for the masses. For Rs 500/- one middle class indian family can buy bathing soap for a whole year. Only the rich and elite can afford to spend excess of Rs 500/- for a single soap. Being a Public Sector company KSDL should be looking at a product of masses and not for a few elite.

Now every one wants PSUs to make profit and make world class product, you are asking for them to make it for the massess. There are plenty of affordable soaps availabale in the market. Let Mysore sandal sell what they think is profitable for them.

Mysore sandal soap cures pimples. PSU rocks
by haya on May 09, 2011 04:11 PM

I have been using Mysore Sandal soap for more than 20 years. I have recommended many of known circles. Before I started using MSS, I have tried out almost all the Indian Soap brands. Result was lot of pimples. When I tried MSS, I saw a difference, surprisingly pimples started disappearing. MSS is like medicine for pimples. From then on, I haven't turned on any other brands. I feel it is the best soap for the youths in the age group of 15 to 30 during which they face pimples problem. No one would like their face become ugly due to pimples. The smell, the style and and it's medical curing capacity will definitely will retain the consumers once if it is used. Really This PSU is rocking. Company should project all this and engage good campaigners in the advts. This will help the company's growth and capture the market from the MNCs. It keeps the faces of Indians glowing. Be Indian and Buy Indian. All the best to KSDL. You are inspiration for the PSUs.

Mysore Sandal Soap - The best
by Vishwanath CB on May 09, 2011 02:55 PM

I have not used any other or even felt the need to change the soap. Agreed it was forced upon by our parents during our growing-up days, but even, when i started earning on my own & travelled in & out of India, i still feel this is one of the best products, that has stood the test of times. But sometimes, while i travel to my granny's village, the soap i get there, feels like duplicate, but it's hardly their mistake, but shud take steps to curn that menance. Way to MSS. YOU ROCK.
