Need to have a mandatory but free periodic check up (once in every six months) for every citizen. Special hospitals to be built only for this purpose and the government should bear the cost.

No if govt starts taking costs of health checkups then how will they make money to stash in swiss bank..
INDIA HAS NO HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.....! IT HAS HEALTH CARE(LESSNESS) SYSTEM WITH GREEDY INDIANS, WHO BECOME SO-CALLED DOCTORS - SUPPOSED TO BE THE SAVIOURS OF HUMANS - BUT MANY A TIMES BECOME BUTCHERS OF HUMAN LIVES!
AND THERE IS NO 'LIABILITY' SYSTEM ON MEDICAL FRATERNITY, UNLIKE IN ALL SENSIBLE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD!
WHEN IT WAS ABOUT TO BE INTRODUCED, ALL THE DOCS OF INDIA OPPOSED IT!
THOUSANDS OF 'COULD-HAVE-BEEN-SAVED' PATIENTS HAVE DIED BECOZ OF THE ROTTEN ATTITUDE OF SEVERAL INDIAN DOCS. WHO ARE / COULD BE ONE OF THE BEST IN THE WORLD IN THEIR KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES MINUS THE TYPICAL LOUSY / ROTTEN INDIAN MINDSETS & ATTITUDE THEY HAVE /POSSESS! THE SAME INDIAN DOCS, OUTSIDE OF INDIA, ARE BETTER PERFORMERS & RECOGNIZED & BECOME MORE SENSIBLE!
HERE, LIKE INDIAN AIRLINES PILOTS, THEY ARE A CLAN INTO THEMSELVES!

haha...one thing is for sure dude...u hv not been to US or canada or uk...or even if you hv been to these places, u definitely have not landed up in medical emergency or had a brush with the medical system there...so, i dont blame u for this rather one sided hatred post for whatever reason... not that all of them sitting there are angels but neither are all of them devils...and its just another profession...good and bad ppl are everywhere...and i am sure ur profession also must be the same...so relax...select ur doctors after proper research and then have faith or else it never gonna work...AND dont always see the glass as half empty!! smile :)
indian health care is way much better PROVIDED you have money to pay for -- health care in canada is crap. (time consuming, ...........) examples-- to see a specialist - 4 to 6 months wait time -complete crap if you are bleeding wait time in emergency is 6 to 8 hours, MRI, CT scan wait time is 6 to 8 months, any major surgery (CABG, hip replacemetnet)etc - wait time is 6 to 8 months even years You dont get your lab results - goes directly to doctor - crap dont share even husband's info to wife again crap due to confidentiality............
however I had done MRI, seen a spcialist and got the results and reports and talk with specialis within 12 hours AND THATS IN INDIA at nominal price
so if you have money you can get vip service in INDIA health care in canada is crap and US of A its ffff expensive ........................

Y people never comment on the people/parents who pay donations/Black money and get their son/daughter admitted to a private medical colleges ... even if they don't have any merit ?
indian Health System is suffering from AIDS.It can not be cleaned. There is no other country in the world where Doctors go on flash strike: patients' body organs are stolen; spurios blood is available in blood banks.... list is never ending.
