I have tried with all of the mobile operators in India. All are alike and they survive and get new connections mainly because of the advertisement. BSNL problem is with their old employees who are not going to change their attitude. They are still like the govt employees. One has to visit their customer care centers N number of times for anything. Incomplete answers, staff on leave and nobody for doing the service etc are the normal response from them. But BSNL can be trusted than other vendors, since they are not looting...
I bought a new IPAD and went to BSNL office bangalore to buy microsim which cost 100rs.. it was around 2:30pm and there were around 10 people. I went to one lady and asked do have microsim?. she didnt reply and i asked thrice and she looked at me said no idea..she was busy with doing some other things..when I asked 5th time she shouted to colleague near by and asked is ter microsim..she was fat lady and i thinks he had nice lunch..in sleepy mood she said yeah no stock....I went second day and i spoke to other emplyoee and i got my sim..i asked him whether there was no stock yest?..,he said it was ter..if BSNL emplyoees work like this lazy govt fellows,....worst..company will go bankrupt soon..everyone hates BSNL..if you apply for net connection they will take minimum 30 days....govt should sell it to any of pvt companies..no surprise their number is lowest in MNP..
Vodafone is not allowing their so called golden and platinum customers to other service providers...I think this is how they manage to get such figures...
The real customer base is around 300 million while rest are multiple prepaid sims that are used by same customer. The average revenue per customer in India is lowest in the world & still falling.
