bcoz the guj govt gave land at 1 paisa or so, they are able to keep the cost to the current level. not because of some amazing invention !! so if they sell NANO to pakistan at current price (nobody will buy if its any costlier), you will be a traitor TATA !! then guj govt should take back the land immediately !!

to om shanti Nano is not for rich guys like you, this is for average people with meagre earning yet aspire to drive with family. TATA never said that Nano is going to compete with Rolls Royce or Ferrari. Tata made the car for those who ride on scooters and bikes carrying full family of 4 to 5 members. I beleive from that point of view Nano is 100 times safer and efficient and comfortable. So filthy rich guys like you should go and buy Bentley and let average people like me full my aspiration of driving a car and pretect my family from heat, dust and filth in indian roads.
why are u upset with me? I just said the fact,market is not growing ! If there is so much emotion among people,Nano should sell like hot cake right? No need to do so much advertising...
Maruti brought a revolution in India,nano could not !
1. You wud get Wind Phobia. Becos everytime there is a wind blowing, you can hear the Nano rattling and feel like its gonna get topsy turvy 2. A 2 hr drive wud result in 2 hr 30 mins. 2 hrs for driving and 30 mins to bring back sensation to your legs which have become numb by squeezing them below the handwheel. 3. Have to attend confidence building classes. You gonna lose all your self confidence when you see aaall the cars zipping past you and finally you see the 10 yr old kid overtaking you in his bicycle 4. Your Insurance cover wud increase from 1 lac to 50 lacs. You never know when you gonna get short ciruited with the simple task of igniting the engine..

Nano is only suitable for driving within a city and not suitable for highway driving. Bad but maybe thats what we get for expecting a 1.5 lakh car to drive like a regular car
