Yes correct. PETA is required to simulate large scale effects such as nuclear explosions etc., ISRO doesnt required that. It needs only to simulate aero-servo-thermo interactions of launch vehicle

it depends on the context
power nuclear explosion simulations with calculation speed is king

For ISRO context ,,it is speed plus graphics power in equal measure to model

Chinese created the world's largest super computer using the same components. NVidia's graph seems to be rising in supercomputing.

mate speed and modelling
speed just for raw calculations
but simulations ,,weather predictions and modelling Rich Graphics power is a must
that is where Nvidias graph comes to picture

We have lot of problems in our country. If we say we'll praise achievements only after all our problems are solved, nobody will be interested in doing good work. Let's just appreciate good work of our scientists and congratulate them.

I agree to your point. The main culprits are politicians not ISRO people... The achievement here is purely technical lets praise thaem for that..
