There is nothing else people can do now... it will start demonstrating against the govt soon... All the taxes in Petrol and Diesel should be removed and the black money from the swiss banks should be brought back to compensate for the same.

That is what it is going to happen. If they are thinking of it, they can as well remove all sorts of taxes and duties on petro products and keep it tax and duty-free for ever. Petro products in India is the highest in this part of the world and one of the very highest in the world, so remove all taxes and duties and bring down the rates else...public wrath will consume the Govt
Diesel is a essential commodity. it should sell at rs 15/- the reason the government put Customs, Central Excise, Vat, Service Tax, MAt, so it is expensive by 300%. why government taxing the essential commodity. this is the culprit for too much of inflation.
Before you do that, see that you bring down the customs duty, excise duty, sales tax on Diesel. Otherwise, Indian People will wage war on Congress Government. If it happens, we will see that congress is booted across the Bay of bengal and Arabian Sea. Watch your step Ranga.
