I guess Mamata is trying to beat the drum around bush.
looking the present scenario and pockets of promises she is throwing it will be intresting to see how seriously people of the state are taking her farse formula to revamp every issue.
it will be difficult to keep mum the commy cratures even if mamta comes to power and they will be playing the same mud game that mamta is playing now.
one thing is sure none of the two wants any real progress of the state.

Yes Rakesh I agree it will be too much to expect anything remarkable. But a reasonable improvement would look like a monumental change especially after 35 years of misrule. I think Mamata is banking on similar thoughts.

The people of WB don't have much choice this election. If they select CPM, they will deny themselves a chance to see the results of a change. If they select TMC, then they will be disappointed as their expectations may remain unfulfilled.

People know what to expect from change and what not to.They are determisned to have this change and they also know how and when their expectations would be fullfilled.

What Mamata has in store in Bengal
by chuni banik on Mar 26, 2011 04:40 PM  | Hide replies

She is a very inefficient lady.We have experienced that how she is running from her kalighat house. Moreover she has her other minister to attend the Railway's foundation stone programe. Although other ministers are drawing salary but they did not perform anything yet.Because they are busy to attend the farce foundation stone laying ceremony. She will not deliver anything other than chaous and confusion.I am really afraid in anticipating that more and more bad times for our state. Some opportunitists like Suvaprasanna , Saoli Mitra, Subrata Mukherjee , Sudip are backing her for looting the state in future.

Whether people run WB from Kalighat or Alimuddin, the net result is the same.

Since people have seen enough non-sense from Alimuddin already, they perhaps want to see something from somewhere else also.

We can only compare an apple with an apple. Otherwise, our benchmarking will sound very biased like yours.

Thanks for your benchmarking statement. Now benchmark corruption in TMC backed panchayet for just 06 months & Alumuddin backed Panchayet . Also try to bench the so called intellectuals of Bengals, behaviour on Land acquisition issue of Tata Nano project & Railway. I think there is no comments from So called intellectuals front on Railway Land acquisition issue as they are paid heavily by Railway department . Any Comments Mr. Joy.

Anjan, are you trying to say Alimuddin backed Panchayat was clean? I hope you visit the villages.
And I've already made it clear that we shouldn't expect anything better even if TMC wins. But a TMC win is on the cards as CPM has done absolutely nothing in last 35 years apart from becoming rude, arrogant and useless. The change is required for the sake of a change. Then people of WB can ponder on the actual loss/gain from the change.

Peoples have started rethinking. Look at price hike of every item since the last Loksabha election. Had TMC raised any voice or organised any movement against the price rises to relieve the distress of common man. No. They are providing unconditional support to Central with the one point agenda of capture Writers. The dream will never come true. People are observing everything from their struggle & experiences.

What did CMP do in the price rise situation? How can you blame TMC for this. Have you ever staged any protest when price rise is done by CPM?
So your observation is let India go berserk west Bengal should have its won price formula?
