Main Issues
by Ravi on Mar 20, 2011 12:47 AM

The major issues which are denting the health and wealth of us now are Inflation, Corruption, Lack of quality education for reasonable price, Lack of health systems and lack of good environment to live. Instead of trying to solve these issues and raising to the occassion to take opportunity from the crisis to solve these we are fighting for seperate statehood. Politicians and other vested interests from telangana have successfully sold a feeling to everyone in telangana that seperate state is answer for all problems faced by telangana. Lets not fall for false reasoning. Its high time we wake up from our slumber land. Together we can raise up to the occaassion to tackle the main issues rather than wastign valuable time and energy on non issues.

My truth
by Ravi on Mar 20, 2011 12:24 AM  | Hide replies

Every one has his own world which is true to him. Understanding this and realising this makes you wise man. But if you think only your world is right and true then it is called fundamentalism. Two major fundamentalists who are creating about 99% of todays worlds problems are Religious fundamentalists and scientific fundamentalists. I sincerely wish my people from telangana wont become regional fundamentalists or seperatists with high order of unwiseness. Lets all fight to change this system of politics , no need to change the boundaries which are again illusions of highest order.

what ever is the party that rules in AP and whoever might be the CM, we want peace in Andhra. T agitatore, pls realise one thing, with all these agitations, we already took back the state behind 10yrs. Karnataka & bangalore are the first places to get benefitted bcause of these agitations. Just within a year yo uguys made teh state as "Ravana Kasta". Pls understand, Hyd is the asset of the ppl of AP. Because of these agitations, hyderabadis are the most effected ppl...pls dont get into the false image created by netas..they are doing for their benefit..but its the common ppl who are loosing out utlimately...Don make this like Bihar.

Naidu
by DL Narayan on Mar 17, 2011 10:35 PM  | Hide replies

What Naidu has achieved is not limited to Hyderabad. He ushered in e-seva, e-governance, political vision, boost to IT, political innovations and ideas like cash transfer instead of subsidies which never reached the poor.
The people of AP were fooled by the lies of YSR and his false promises of giving them Telangana. The minorities did not vote for him because he supported the NDA government. The state government employees voted against him since they did not like being forced to work and eschew corruption. The congress reaped the benefits of CBN's reforms and in the subsequent elections, In the subsequent elections, a megastar-turned political leader played spoiler and ruined CBN's chances of re-election. The congress won a lot of seats, but by a wafer thin majority of less than 2 %. The people of AP are now paying the price for the misrule of the Congress.

wow...really? If so, what are the total software exports of Hyderabad compare with Bangalore? Are we atleast 50% of them? But none of the Karnataka CMs moved around with laptops., never moved with people like Sathyam Raju by keeping thier hand in hand. Look at our another neighbour, TN, they are top of the list in the country in automobile industry, we are not even 20% of them. But, Mr. Naidu don't you look what is AP is potential for?? What did he do for Bio-Tech industry in the state? Why he didn't take the Pharmaceutical/Bio-Tech industry to another level?? Most of the duplicate pharmaceutical medicines are manufacturing in AP, most of them are very close aides of these great politicians...all are useless. The development happend to have the economical balance in the world..thats it..its not greatness of mine or you.

Krishna
Agreed that Naidu has not achieved as much as a Modi or some Karnataka CM. But if you consider where AP was when he came to power and where we are today there is a world of difference. He came across as a politician with a vision which is very rare in the caste and region based politics in today's AP. It may be a long long time when we will find someone with even half the vision of Naidu. The Congress is full of corrupt politicians and the less said of TRS or Jagan or even TDP without Naidu the better. And before you come to conclusions no I am not from Naidu's caste or region.

DL Narayan is spot on.
I disagree with Krishna and my gentle suggestion to him is not to compare with other states. Let's feel good that atleast we are not languishing like other states like MP, Bihar, UP etc...

We cannot deny the fact that the credit of development goes to Babu. Sathyam Raju was a VVIP person a few years back and it is but obvious that all top ministers will be close to him for various issues. Don't forget the fact tht satyam was also involved in lot of good causes which state govt has acknowledged....

people like krishna will always complain about our own things...when he goes to foreign countries he will say India is poor and bla bla...but we should also be unbiased in appreciating the good development....

Thanks to CBN, Hyderabad can boast of several first world facilities like Convention Centre, international airport, IT Hubs etc. Wish he comes back soon...Despite the charges of corruption and favoritism he created a lasting legacy and a sense of administration....our dear congress netas have undone all of that in the last 5 years...in times to come, AP will regret this years of missed opportunities...

True CBN was not responsible for IT outsourcing jobs to India, but he was a big factor in bringing a lot of those jobs to Hyderabad. He was the CM at the right time when outsourcing was peaking and he brought lots of jobs to Hyd which would have gone to Bangalore or Chennai otherwise.

IT is neither driven by Central Govt. nor by CMs like Chandrababu Naidu. It will create the same number of jobs in any other location (for ex. Bang,Chennai) as it would in Hyd. The major beneficiaries are CBN and his henchmen who grabbed thousands of acres of land and the same legacy continued by YSR and his chamchas. What big difference? The ideal scenario would be Hyderabad a separate state or Union Territory that should be kept away from Coastal Andhra/Rayalseema fools. And this will happen

Because of its cosmopolitan culture. Hyderabad is a place that anybody can be easily adopted. I have been to many metros but nothing can beat Hyderabad. There are always pros and cons with any metro but Hyderabad is well balanced in all aspects.
