Greed is problem of all big economies.Did not the Budha told to avoid this greed.They paid havily for it in WW-2. And now also they are not repenting senseless power generation for senseles growth.
It is well known law in thermodunmics that each irreversible reaction (almost all ractions in world are irreversible)tend to increase entropy ofm univers.Which means useful form of energy disappears. Same way every human act if not in harony with nature distrubs the ecology and makes environment unsafe for living things inclduing plants.It is delicate close knit cycle evolves by laws of nature.Fingering it will sure result in burning hands.No body in world can majke a perfect machine or technology.Nothing is perfect in world except the god.Japanese kew well that they are sitting on earth quake zone and they also faced nuclear devastation duering world war. But following western cpaitlaism and oiutward civiliation they joined the rat race.japan does not have raw materials.Hence consuming too much energy is not good for them.Hence they went for nuclear systems.Now no plant can be ever made that can withstand reichter 9 shocks.A few pipe lines and pumps cant with stand this all. Japanese never bothered to make a standby system to use if emergency cooling also failed.using nuclear devices is like playing with fire.You cant switch it off in few minutes.I think japanese have delieberately taken the risk and they have paid for it.It is time men learn to live in harmony with their local nature and sont try to recklessly exploit it and make fun of it.Every artificaal act and living of man is against nature.
I have seen so many pictures portraying 100s and 1000s of good cars lying on the roadsides. Can we at least import those cars to India and pay them a price?. I think it will help them to some extent...

Japan has always been ahead of other countries in the human effected race towards technology and development, We tend to forget that after trekking down the mountain and reaching its peak, the only way out is a big slide, that is what I presume our humanity is seeing today. It is perfectly understandable that the Nature's Flury cannot be stopped, humanity cannot fight with nature as man is too small a particle before nature, Time and again the floods, earthquakes, tornados, volcanic erruptions, tsunamis have proved this, OK accepting the will of nature, what is man presently doing?... with regard to man made disasters like World wars or say nuclear accidents in Chernobyl or today the same accidents reoccuring in Japan, it is washing out our human population, Is this the consequence we are ready to take for going ahead in Technology and development? Is'nt all the sciences and technology primarily for the development of Human race on a whole or is it for wiping of our race? Its time we all sit down with peace have ask these questions to ourselves and judge how important the nuclear power related technologies are important to our children and furure race.

Yes, japan is at the helm of technology.Which is why even after such a huge earthquake there are only 10's of thousands of deaths. In india a small earthquake causes building to collapse and lakhs and lakhs to people to die. (sometimes no earthquake is needed in india for a building collapse. Nature can strike anywhere, anytime and we have no control. We need to learn how good technology has saved so many lives and homes even after such disaster. We all need electricity one source or the other.
