SOME keeps complaining
by Pankaj Singh on Mar 20, 2011 03:08 PM

I start getting headache when I go through the negativity spread here by pseudo Indians (who say they are Indians but they are not) and keep saying YA this is not correct there is nothing correct in India
as if talking without belittling India is indispensable.

Also those pseudo Indians feel proud after that as if they have done wonders by ridiculing India

Coming to my point

GUYS and GALS
I have some point to make, or I must say a sort of solution(which i think it could be).

I am saying that why dont we start a pre-election exam(which candidates interested in contesting election will undertake it) after which the person securing minimum qualification will be able to contest election.

otherwise lallu panju people will also buy ticket and compete for the chair

the exam could be on social issues where there is no technical education is required and it could be modified according to places

there are 99% of IAS,IPS,IFS who are doing there job pretty well because they know the value of this JOB. POLLU-TICIANS may affect there work.

IF same thing is applied in case of regional elections, why wouldn’t it succeed

OK it may be a expensive exercise but not that much expensive as much 2G,CWG,Black money cases are

Or we may do this exercise atleast for CMs
Certainly nobody want a person to rule him who cannot solve respective areas problems.

And I certainly do not want cheap comments on this.

Please respond on my solution if i am forgetting to focus on somet

Corruption
by arungopal agarwal on Mar 15, 2011 09:57 AM

No serious efforts are made to curb it rather all politicians and govt. servants are covered to do it. No one is removed at prime facie case, rather govt. is to prove first that he is corrupt. It should be reverse.

Indian Thinking, Planning and Disaster Management Preparedness
by anuradhakumari on Mar 15, 2011 09:36 AM

A countrywide discussion on the Topic "Indian Thinking, Planning and Disaster Management Preparedness" should and must be conducted by Gov., NGOs, Responsible Pvt. Cos. etc.

All in India knows the quality of Construction, the bylaws, the rules etc. when the real Estate sector dealings are shrouded in Controversies, Corruption etc. When the free, open spaces, gardens, school playgrounds are very tactfully and shrewdly converted in Building, Parking Malls etc. Green spaces in cities are shrinking day by day with no REAL worry from any quarter......
What if someday, a high magnitude earthquake like that of JAPAN occurs in India, WE INDIANS MUST THINK --------
WHO WILL WEEP, WHO WILL BE WIPING WEEPING FACES

In the land of scams and corruption, every INDIAN must think this at least for some moments regularly....

JAI HIND

Corruption is caused by BAD GOVERNANCE
by iota on Mar 14, 2011 09:57 PM  | Hide replies

It is IMPOSSIBLE to walk into any Police Station, Govt. Office in India - and get any work done in reasonable time.

The govt. itself PROMOTES and INVITES Corruption, by refusing to do any work without BRIBE or INFLUENCE.

Indians are at the mercy of few lakh govt. servants.

PERFECT. IF corruption (as said above) curbed to 90% (at least)India will certainly grow and grow at 12%. First of all Middle and lower middle class should be empowered. This is possible only if Petty offices and officials and petty officers (starting from Village executive/Patel/patwari/Revenue inspetor/Munipcipal staff/Sub Registrar and staff, Police up to CI level so on and so forth)are controlled perfectly and corruption is routed at this mundane level. Then all middle class will be happy and fight like in Egypt or Libya and root out out the corruption. This lower and middle class or even the poor class would not understand are able to feel in their daily life If Raja or Sathyam Rama Linga Raju Or Kalmadi etc are cauught. But, mundane miseries are felt and this mundane misery cripples the middle class and Big Guys take advantage of this. As rightly sais the 3 to 4 lakh Govt employees are responsible for our GDP growth loss of at least 3% now and all the ills that Country faced over 60 years

We are a corrupt nation
by pradeep agarwal on Mar 14, 2011 09:27 PM  | Hide replies

It is stupid to just blame politicians for all the ills of nation. The country gets politicians from its own people. The average citizen of India sees corruption as a great opportunity to make quick money & supported by family in this. How otherwise a wife would not object to bundle of black money that husband brings home? Why would children not ask the father on showering gifts that are way beyond his known income?the family members in fact curse honest earning member & always urge him to use his authority to make money. The value system in India has eroded completely & all kind of appeasements in form of reservations, subsidies, social security schemes like NREGA have lead to a corrupt society surviving on loot of national resources.

The problem is with one party rule, and it is the main cause of corruption in this country.

You are not getting this, there has never been a merit system in India, and it allows for all sorts of hanki-panki. The country is purposely kept illiterate.

Withot corruption we will be unstoppable..
by Passed on Mar 14, 2011 08:30 PM

We are people of enterprising nature, we find life form in anything and we can make anything possible. Only issue is we do not have courage to challenge the powerful. And one of the reason being our social psychology of not questioning the adults or people in power, which is rooted in our ancient structure of considering anyone superior to us as the ultimate authority of making decision on our behalf.

The reason West could break the shackles of Kings and could achieve success was because they change that mindset and started questions. We need to start the same here. Freedom of expression and Freedom to question should be 2 basic rights for people of India.

economist Surjit Bhalla: "India is at the third stage right now. If you question the supply side of corruption, the demand side will automatically be reduced,"

it looks logical and rational and we wish it comes into being!

It is a country without values & our new generation unfortunately has no problem with corruption. How many youngsters show courage to refuse dowry at the time of marriage or stand against corruption in their office? They in fact have few inhibitions for accessing money provided by willing in-laws or corrupt parents to buy luxuries.
