If capitalism makes a man a begger , then communism makes the begger a beast. Neither is the solution of humanities economic woes .... the only solution is PROUT. Progressive Utilization Theory
No country can make 100% of its citizens educated or rich. There will always be people who suffer from poverty, ill-health in any soceity due to various reasons, some will be lazy, some will be less or no intelligence, or just their karma.

but, the laws of karma will produce devastating results like in India. Intelligence is universal. Upper caste cannot allocating karma rules strictly on the lower caste and brand them idiots

People in india dont deserve democracy. Look at the comments .Always finding fault. Remember grass always looks greener other side of fence. Every country has its problem. We need to unite and fight for change. Our problems does not make china a better country. China too has its problems. Think if india was communist country like china you would be in jail to post comments against government. So respect the freedom this great country has given you.

And remember india is democracy. If you criticize india you criticize yourself. You have made it what it is today. Its not some communist or monarchy where you can put blame on single person. Its run by people who you elect. So stop criticizing and do something about it

I agree with you. India has a great tradition of democracy nurtured by the Nehru-Gandhi family.

democracy is people's government where the majority can dominate the minority. In India, is minority rights protected? Democracy makes revolution rare. In the name of democracy we have lost secularism
China is well ahead if not more atleast 20 years in terms of Infrastructure of its cities and otherwise.
China has gone well ahead of India, let us focus on doing what we can do to get our infrastrucure and poverty in perspective.
If we continue at our current rate, China will become far more important to us that USA in terms of business it will generate for us and than we are doomed. We will have to walk the Chinese Line. Mandarin is not being learnt in India for no reason !!!

what to you know about Mumbai...a small piece of Land in Mumbai Slum in Dharavi will cost more then the price of Uptown Karachi or Colombo...I lived in Mumabi for 5 years and 110% sure Mumbai is the best city in SouthAsia in terms of wealth and prosperity...
In the article it is said that 4.6% people in China are below poverty line living on less than $2 a day.
In India, 40% of the population is living on less than $1 a day and are below extremely poor line...
I think China is doing good then... the difference with India is huge... and I will compare both nations are they got independence almost together had old civilizations and huge population.
