Reason america is rich becaue of half of population is engaged in jobs that are created by small entreprneur. you dont have to be ambani or tata. every body cant be. but even small buiness you run and creat jobs for even 2-3 people. you are doing biggest dharma.
you have rotated the wheel of economy. helps tremendsously in economic growth and prosperity of our society. entereprenurship is vital like oxygen. and ofcourse we need to keep betering business infrastructur otherwise entrepreneur wont be able to run venture smoothly. this should be our focus. poltics and criket and all debate that goes on and on, who is righ, who is wrong, and blaming whole day. all these are waste of time.

Kudos
Mr Raghavan, You are the true hero championing the cause of this very necessity called water without which a place like Chennai would be doomed. Maybe it is god's will that you were born there and endeavoured to take up this thankless but worthful job, in spite of so many humilations. May we have more such Raghavans in places like Rajasthan etc where people have to travel long distances for this very commodity. Hats off to you. Words are not enough for the perserverance made by you. keep it up Sir.

He is a hindu and a strong BJP supporter, this is actually a project of the BJP because Advaniji,Sushmaji and Jaitelyji along with Narendra Modi mentored this guy to help the people of Tamil Nadu and now even Gujarat. With people like this and party like BJP india will be super power and more importantly a HINDU power

Hats off...

I know how effective was it.. i lived in T.Nagar, Chennai for several years and 80% of time we purchased water thru tanks ( controlled by DMK water mafia) thanks to Jayalalitha she brought Rain Water Harvesting and Krishna Water thru pipes to Metro waters.

If jayalalitha uses her brain and stand pro-Industry too like DMK she will be never forgetted in TN.

I like DMK for their future thinking of Job Creation with Industrial revolution.

This shows proper planning and community support they can achieve any thing.

Long live Dr Sekhar Raghavan.

Are you sure it is prospering as fast as it deserves?
Look at the strategic location of TN, Look at the brilliant & hardworking human resource, Look at the ample rainfall. Compare all these parameters with Maharastra (not today's but 2 decades back) & Gujrat (last 10 years) and then compare growths.
I think TN should have done better. How come Bangalore has overtaken Chennai though starting late?
