I fully agree with you. Why do people think that politicians come with begging bowl for votes when they have huge empires (most of them) of their own. World over the political leaders are out to amass wealth (excepting few). We have to see that they do some good work for the nation while they are piling up their wealth.
Looks like MR.Jaitely is also including his BJP (Without Any allies) government in Karnataka in this list. Oh! Sorry maybe i should not mention that and just brush it under the carpet like BJP's memory. SELECTIVE AMNESIA!! BJP is not only corrupt they are also communal.

BJP is called communal- because it takes up hindu causes- then by the same logic congress becomes doubly communal- because it has Muslim league & kerala congress ( christian parties ) as coalition partners! got it cool-i am a hindu - and i vote only BJP

BJP should try their best to distance from this reputation of association with any religion, leave that to moolah majority nations, it does not suit our temperament.

Jaitley is making a political statement which suits its vote bank. Nothing wrong. Congress also does it. But as informed readers we should be able to distinguish between a real and political statements and react accordingly.

Jaitley is making perfecttly logical, lucid and nonpartisan statement which are based on the real observation on double digit inflation, inflated projection of growth in agriculture and lack of action on the supply side for past six years.

Business is going up because of businessmen, skilled resources and hardwork of the people of India...not this CORRUPT government which is pulling Indian Economy down with desperation to keep their western counterparts happy.

BJP lasting legacy in just 5yrs: 1. Privatization of telecom and freeing it from licence Raj of Nehruvian nightmare. 2. Giving India global recognition by Pokharan 2 3. Perhaps above all Golden Quadilateral Highway scheme that build more roads than corrupt, useless dynatic successive Congressis had built in previous hlaf a century.
India can only shine when similar fresh ideas are implemented. Congress is good at few things as well: 1. Minority vote bank politics which neither helps minority or majority 2. Ensuring Nehru his duaghter, grandson, his grandosn wife, his great garndson and donw the line their cat or dog should have the absolute power. 3. Populist policies more aimed at election then long term prospect of economy.
Statements by Mr. Jaitley calling the present government the most corrupt, really makes no difference. The bottom line is all the present parties are corrupt and have their agendas which they try to fulfill during their stay in power. I know its probably not right to paint all the politicians black with the same brush. But i dont see any politician who has made any significant difference to the plights of the common man. This is not the first scam and will definately not be the last. I dont know but my outlook of the politicians is general is all pessimistic and negative

So what, whether chosen by India or italian but in the last Indian citizens are struggling.
Whether its Congress or BJP, if they are in opposition they think their primary role is to oppose every damn thing done/proposed by the govt. It just creates a negativity around every thing done by the ruling party. BJP and Congress have done some good things when they are in power(offcourse there are a lot of bad things also they did) but every such things are always opposed/propagated negatively.
