Govt itself has many accounts like this. So they are protecting those individuals through these schemes... just to hide this issues FM nicely created a hype in terms of increase in no tax amount by 20,000...a tax saving of 2K. so read the between the lines one will know how bankrupt the govt is in terms of governace and upliftment of its poor!!!

You are right. Let the idiot Yashwant Sinha talk all these nonsense. First, it is a complex matter to get into India the black money sitting foreign banks and with the congress govt, its own people having money abroad, things cannot come easily. Second, adopting hardline effect on black money abroad will be counter productive to the economy, given the scale of operations allowed to exist so far. The best option is to give sops, get the money into India and create employment opportunities. Otherwise, it will only go on legal angles within our courts and end in long drawn battles for nothing.

The very word Swiss Bank makes every congressman jump a feet high and he sees it as a personal attack on the Gandhi Family. It is a well known fact that these worthies have stashed huge amount of money abroad and waiting for suitable gimmick to legitimise it. Trust it to good old Pranab Da to oblige.
