what has mamata to do with your chennai??? Chennai will set up first scam college in India, with principal A Raja, and Vice chancellor Kannimozhi and Education Director Karunanidhi and exemplary professors in Maran, Stalin, Alaghiri and Jayalalitha.

Happy Migrants are opting other cities
by mitesh kambli on Mar 14, 2011 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

I am happy that People are migrating to Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Sooner this cities would be populated and than local people of Bangalore and hyderabad would start screaming about their presence and absence.
Wonder Where are the people of Great States like UP & Bihar , why this local of Bihar/UP not do anything for their own state but think always to ruin the life of local people of other states in the Name of Right of Constitution to Migration but not taking the fact that Right to Constitution to Migration doesnt mean Right to Grabbing the Peace of Local People :)

Hahaha. Hello this poll is for Rich and Educated class who voted for Bengaluru as their preference to work.

Had polling been conducted among uneducated and daily laborers. I bet 90% of them would still prefer to settle in their favorite place Dharavi Slums, Mumbai.

Mumbai is the mecca for laborers from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

All these cities are of national importance based on certain decisions by central government and international interests. Bangalore is knowledge hub of india, New Delhi is capital and those who want NCR also would had voted for New delhi, Mumbai is known as commercial capital of india, pune is emerging IT city and hyderabad is like that since 10 years. It is due to the joint effort of central govt as well as state govt. For example - mumbai and calcutta were building since british days, coz docks are there, and the trend continued with that post independence. If an industry sector has to grow, for commercial reasons it happens in a city, growth doesn't happen in a scattered one company in patna, other in luckhnow, other gangtok and one company in bangalore; industry sectors don't happen like that; for a simple reason that a good number in one place makes it easier for govt, vendors, clients and employees; everyone. and yes politicians have been more or less same in all states. Its so sad that educated people like you are dividing as local and migrants among indians itself.

Poor Guy!!!
At first read some article and India government policy. In India no government has able to create a good city, cities are coming by default there is no planning. e.g. Kolkata and Bombay both were established by Britishere and Delhi is a capital and government also opened all the offices in these cities so it is obvious that ppl come to these part to work.
Any way for your kind information UP has Noida developing as an IT and BPO hub but still UP is a agricultural state and I would say it is good for the country and may be not good for state.

be competitive and time is coming when only fittest would survive. Why do you cry foul when u cant compete. When people like you move to foreifgn countries than then the same logic applies.

Good that Mumbai is last in the list.. eventually speaking Mumbai should not be in the list... Let expatriates work in any other states but not in Mumbai.. Mumbai is of Marathi people and we are self sufficient to run the state.
