Actually cities are grow which are under control of non congress govts.
Ahmedabad is most investment oriented and industrial city followed by bangalore, chennai, pune, baroda, surath, cochin, hyderabad. Mumabai growth is now stopped with no plan of the state govt.

Banglore is just currently under a non congress govt otherwise from last 10 years it's been under Congress's helm. And Mr. S M Krishna (Current Foreign Affairs Minister for GOI) has done a lot for Banglore. He made the Banglore a IT City. He is a true star..

Except delhi all good cities are in south or west india.
Even delhi is there just because of political reason as it is captial- otherwise it is rape/crime capital, very unsafe for wonman & people are arrogant, unprofessional & arrogant there.
south & west are really driving indian economy.
North is good only in show off.
BTW I am a northy.

Nagpur is not growing because it gets step motherly attitute from Maharashtra. All develoment priorities given to Mumbai and Pune. Once vidharva state gets into force, Nagpur will grow like anything because geographically it is heart of india and connecting junction to Mumbai, Calcutta and Delhi .

Hey dont tell as illiterally. If migration banned no development any any indian territory will not happen. Even military people also could not go to other palces for work.
INDIAN CITIZENSHIP ALLOWS ANY TO LIVE FROM KUTCH TO NAGALAND AND FROM KANYAKUMARI TO LADAKH
THIS IS CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT.

U are right.
All the talented & like minded people should be allowed to choose any place in country.
Also all must respect local culture wherever they stay & must admit they have come to this place because it is better than the homeland.

Subhasish, kindly listen. I am A tamilian and I have greatest regard for Bengalis-for their contribution towards Literature/Independence. Netaji, Chittarranjanji, PaL,BC Roy etc. but the CPM has spoiled the image of WB. All great industrial establishments like ITC/ Lipton etc have shifted their office to B'Lore-why? A small city in 1970 --Blore has attracted all the IT companies in INdia. Closely followed by Hyderabad/ Madras. Why? Bengalis must think. They kept harassing the industrialists and are reaping the fruits now. Kolkatta, erstwhile capital, is not even 7th in airtraffic today! B'Lore/ Hyderabad are far ahead! At one stage Bengalis begged Rajivji for only one international flight thr Calcutta andhe gracefully agreed to start Kol- Bangkok. Madras/ Blore are favoured by Lufthansa, KLM, British Airways, Air France but none touch Kolkatta. Why? The labour in Blore and Gujarat are very good and they are prospering. the labour in Bengal are- u know better.

Bangalore- Polluted and no place to walk and Park- Real estate in Yelahanka 60KM from Bangalore is running in crores for a decent apartment. New Delhi- No comments.
Hyderabad: Hot and Politically Wrong place to settle.
Pune: Good place but why the cost is more than Mumbai has to be seen,
Chennai- Hot Dirty with no wide roads , lot of traffic and crowded place..

Mumbai- Amchi Mumbai with all above disadvantages like other cities this should be still no-1.
